Kids; don't try this at home. Mr. O'Rourke is a trained humorist. O'Rourke eschews his normal socio-political commentary in this hilarious look at how not to keep house. His solutions for household problems would send Heloise into convulsions. (Whether these convulsions would be of humor or horror depends entirely on Heloise's sense of humor). His cooking advise, if followed, would even gross out an adolescent boy. Warped though his advice may be, it is never dull. This has got to be one of the funniest books ever written.
