This is a wonderful book, though flawed. Wurtzel's logic is sometimes tortured, circular or downright stupid. However, her main idea -- that difficult women are by and large the most interesting, stands out like a ray of sunlight in a musty room. She seems to say that you get what you pay for, and though difficult women are often costly (emotionally), they are worth the effort. Wurtzel's style is refreshing -- it is not just okay for women to want to be accomodated, but neccessary for a successful feminist movement that women can be accomodated. This book is well worth the time it takes to read.
