Trust in Liberals drops to 27%, poll finds
The number of people who trust the Liberal government to do the right thing has fallen to 27% from 36% a
 month ago, according to an EKOS Research poll. The number of voters backing the Liberals has also dropped to 45% --  with much of the fall happening in the last two weeks as the government has been enveloped in corruption controversies.(And as usual, our small minded Prime Minister falls back on his threats of retaliation and retribution against 'right winged' Liberal MP's that blow the whistle on any more of his parities corruption. Liberals STILL Won't Support our Military
In a rare show of unity, committee members from all four federalist parties said the military is so overstretched that Canada risks embarrassment by failing to contribute to global security. Jean Chrétien, however, suggested the military is not likely to get any big increase  in funding. "There are all kinds of demands on the government, and we don't have unlimited resources," the Prime Minister said.(Oh really!! they seem to have "unlimited resources" when it comes to the "gun control fraud" and other liberal agenda projects. Starting with Trudeau, the liberals have decimated and demoralized our armed forces to the point our military is virtually toothless, and is now headed by a "Air Cadet" from a private school.. A decade of Auditor-Generals' warnings ignored

The dangers of putting weapons in the cockpit 
The pilots of El Al, Israel's airline, are not armed, however, and that airline has not had a hijacking in 34  years. The three pilots consider this evidence for the argument that the deterrence effect of armed pilots is not essential. Furthermore, gunfire in the cockpit could easily shatter the windshield. In which case, says one of these pilots, "someone is going to be sucked out  - the terrorist, if he's not strapped in."(It's unfortunate, that the generally ignorant media believes and prints crap like this without question!  These three pilots may know guns and planes, but some of their facts and physics are a bit screwed up. El may not arm pilots, but all flights carry armed air marshals, and 99% of the crews are ex-military..THAT is why they have not had a hijacking in 34 years.  I'm sure if the same crew status applied to North American flights, there probably would be no need to arm pilots here either! As for the Window thing, the 'maximum' pressure difference in an aircraft would be 1 atm or 14.7 (15) psi (and not likely that high). Not enough pressure to suck anyone out a window, particularly through the front windshield of a plane with 500 mph. of wind pressure against it.. Besides, why would the pilot be firing in that direction anyway? Only Hollywood and media hype promote junk science like that)

Military in 'relentless decline'

Hell why would anything like experience be important to this government.. Hey!! I was in Sea Cadets!! Can I get a job driving one of our Nuclear Aircraft Carriers? ..Uh! we don't?.. Liberals should be easy to defeat, Mulroney says

This is a Luxury that our armed forces flying around in those 'sitting duck' Sea Kings don't have. They have been told there is no need to worry about being targeted!!! Not only will Chrétien not fly in a Sea King, he actually thinks himself important enough to BE a target.. We should only be so lucky!!)
WOULD MOHAMED ATTA OBJECT TO ARMED PILOTS? 
The scenario under which a gun might become useful for a pilot is this: The hijackers have penetrated the locked cockpit and thwarted air marshals, passengers and crew. It's going to be difficult for the pilot to fly the plane after the cockpit has been stormed by Arabs. Whatever could go wrong at that point -- a wounded passenger, a hole in the side of the plane, terrorists wresting control of the gun -- is better than the alternative.   Ah, but Magaw is worried that the terrorists will now have a pistol. Think of havoc they could wreak with a gun. Of course, they'll also have a Boeing 767 careening at 480 miles per hour toward the nearest landmark building. Magaw seems to think the real danger is that terrorists will shoot at the White House from a window, not that they'll fly the plane into it.  Magaw is the worst kind of government bureaucrat. He defends fascistic government abuses -- but the trains still don't run on time. Fascism is at least supposed to keep the citizenry safe.(Not much difference on this side of the border.. Our government thinks it's better to shoot down the aircraft than take a chance on someone getting hurt with a gun!!)

It doesn't allow for reasonable regulation."( Right across the river in Virginia, where it's legal to carry a 'unconcealed' handgun, or concealed with a permit issued on demand, the Death by firearm rate is 12.8 per 100,000. in Maryland, it's 13.2 in Delaware it's 7.3   -- The DC Rate for death by firearm is 31.7 per 100,000 The highest rate in the USA . You are over twice as likely to be a victim in DC than any other place in the USA, and the ONLY difference is the legal access to firearms.  This is the usual outcome of gun control laws.)
Gun Registry Makes Police Work More Difficult . . .

Consequently I ask it again. The provinces have registered 18.1 million vehicles in Canada, each one with the owner's name on it. The justice department
has spent $700 million to register only 3.3 million guns without the owners' names. How can the provinces get it so right and the justice department and the federal government get it so wrong? The minister went on to brag and I would like to quote from his answer: The registration, licensing and mechanisms are working quite well. That is not a joke. That is what he said. This will come as a big surprise to police on the street who continue to ridicule the gun registry and all the bonehead mistakes made by the justice minister and his bureaucrats.(To date, I have not met a single police officer that does not think this entire registry has turned out to be a GIANT FARCE. Most just roll their eyes, and admit they don't believe it makes their job any easier, or the public any safer. They consider it to be something some of them 'may' have thought was a good idea at first, but has been totally destroyed by a bureaucracy that has virtually no understanding of the task at hand, while being driven by special interest groups and their political pressure. NONE of the Liberal claims are supported by Statistics Canada, and every thing they spout to the press is the same parroted rhetoric over and over, obviously aimed at the uninformed voter group that continues to support them. .)

Reading between all the lines, it would seem that a 7 year quest to register guns has resulted in a 51% compliance rate! But ONLY if you use 'their' numbers. The compliance rate is actually a 'fraction' of that, if you use the REAL figures of  16 - 21 million guns in Canada. The governments insistence on an 'official' estimate of only 7 million guns is laughable at best..)
Talk about nasty: the arrogance of power
The arrogance of power manifests itself in various ways. In a de facto one-party state, the party in power gets careless. Cozy relationships  develop with lobbyists, bagmen, businesses and political cronies who sniff the nectar of power.The arrogance of power, which flows from exercising it uncontested for too long, has now blended toxically with intense rivalries inside the governing party. The Liberal voting group was only 36% of the popular vote! And, it just goes to show you how screwed up our political system is, when a one party dictatorship can hijack the country with such a small percentage of the popular vote. I don't think many firearm owners are worried about any unregistered guns. This government won't be around after the next election anyway. Now people might start paying attention to the absurdity of spending a BILLION DOLLARS to control guns that Statistics Canada has confirmed are no problem anyway.. It's just another Liberal 'Control' thing..)
Armed, Cult Busting Granny is no Pushover

Name any major cult or near-cult in America in the last half of the 20th century, and this teacher and author of "Cults in Our Midst" has probably  researched it, debriefed its victims, or helped the cops nail its leaders. (Big criminals get very small, very fast, when they discover their intended victim is armed. Many even 'discover' the fatal flaw in their victim selection process)

"I phoned her and she said, 'Mommy, I can't talk right now, we're in the basement. There's a terrorist shooting people,' " said Ms. Lawry, 65. Before hanging up, "she said the children feel safe because they see her with the gun on her lap."(Our government should ask 'this' woman how she feels about 'gun control'. The unarmed are always the 'first'  victims.  Someday, you may need protection from someone, or something when 911 is not available, or as in most cases will not provide safety fast enough to prevent your or yours from becoming another crime statistic. Your much safer when the criminal thinks 'someone' might be armed, and 'he' might get shot.. )
THINGS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT CPIC
On April 19, 2002, the RCMP sent us a document showing that there had been 221 confirmed breaches of
CPIC since 1995 with another 193 possible breaches still under investigation.  Why should every Canadian
citizen be concerned about these breaches whether they own firearms or not?  Because YOU may be in the
police files and may not know it! The fact is that the government has collected information on millions of honest citizens without their knowledge and consent and violated their privacy rights in the process.  Once these mistakes are uncovered, citizens have found it impossible to get the false information removed from their CPIC files because the RCMP passes the buck to other police forces and agencies. The Privacy Commissioner of Canada is investigating.(Someone out there, probably has information on every 'registered' gun you own. Does this government make 'you' feel safer? I didn't think so)

A government study for the years 1890-1892, for  example, found only three handgun homicides, an average of one a year, in a population of 30 million. In 1904 there were only four armed robberies in London, then the largest city in the world. One century and many gun laws later, the British Broadcasting Corp. reports that England's firearms restrictions and 1997 ban on handguns ''have had little impact in the criminal underworld.'' Guns are virtually outlawed, and, as the old slogan predicted, only outlaws have guns. And what is worse, they are increasingly ready to use them.(It's like banning matches because children set fires while playing with them. "Remember it for the children!", "If it only saves one life", "I came to Ottawa with the firm belief that only the police and soldiers should have (legal) guns", "A gun is merely an inadequate substitute for a penis". So... I suppose, when confronted by a mugger one should pull out a…? And all the other bullshit spouted by the Anti's. Nowhere in the ENTIRE world, has gun control caused a decrease in crime. All the evidence shows exactly the opposite. If Canada follows the U.K. example, and the Liberals are pointing it that way, Self defence will get you thrown in jail. You will not be armed because the registration records will be used to confiscate your firearms, just as they were in England. If you want the criminals in control, make sure the public is defenceless. This 'may' be good job security for the police, but poor 'life' security for the public.  )
Christmas comes early to Ottawa

Only a Liberal would have difficulty in imagining the level of absurdity? The head of the CFC (who ever the hell that might be now) has in all likelihood never even fired a gun, but 'knows' their bad! It would look like the Liberals are trying to eliminate future problems by appointing people who know absolutely nothing about their new post. Unlike, their appointment of  the current, very capable Auditor General. This 'error' on the liberals part in appointing competence to a job, is now shining a very bright light into all the Liberal corners and crawlspaces watching them scurry for safety, and they'll be damned if their ever going to let THAT happen again. ) 
Park Wardens Will Remain Unarmed
The tribunal has  received no evidence that park wardens,  while at work and carrying out law-enforcement duties, were ever in a self-defence situation where they were facing grievous bodily harm or death. There is also no evidence before me  that such a situation would occur in the future," appeals officer Serge Cadieux wrote in a 51-page decision.(I guess we all have to wait until people get killed. Its the Liberal way! When confronted by armed poachers, wardens simply have to dial 911 at the nearest 'treephone', and police will show up at the wilderness location, and guard their remains from wild animals.)
CDC says 70% of self-inflicted injuries may be failed attempts at suicide
Poisoning accounted for 65 percent of self-inflicted injuries, the CDC  found, with cuts from sharp instruments coming second at 25 percent and firearms accounting for only 1 percent. Attempted poisoning was significantly more common among women, and gunshot wounds more common among men.(See!! in GunTote'n Good Old U.S.A.  firearms account for only 1 percent of self inflicted injuries. That would put it about 0.1% in Canada!)

Why the Bad 'Egg' is Gone

Mr. Eggleton failed to notify the Prime Minister for a week that Canadian troops had been responsible for arresting al-Qeada suspects in Afghanistan and handing them over to the U.S. "It's got nothing to do with corruption," said Prof. Cooper. "He fired Art Eggleton because Eggleton embarrassed him."(THIS makes sense... Chrétien has always supported his corrupt and/or incompetent ministers in the past)

Just an hour or two before he offered to resign from Cabinet, Defence Minister Art Eggleton was still mounting a vigorous and spirited defence over awarding an untendered  contract to a former lover. Ms. Maier produced a report last November that was 14 pages long, half of them a bibliography and a listing of various Web sites. The pair were linked romantically in 1997 and 1998.(Unlike the Taxpayers, She probably got Kissed First!)
Canadian Pilots WANT Guns in the Cockpit(Nat.Post Letters)
Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA), representing 80% of Canada's  pilots, has also said in the past that it doesn't support the idea of bringing firearms into the cockpit.  As a pilot with Air Canada, I can say this statement did not derive from any canvas of the opinions of the line pilots of the company. American pilots represented by ALPA and British pilots represented by BALPA (the world's two largest pilot unions) both responded to the events of Sept. 11 by analyzing the  new threat and security environment and declaring themselves in favour of weaponry in the cockpit as a last resort for the pilots to protect their aircraft. I can say that the issue has been widely debated in Canadian pilot circles and many of us, maybe even a majority, agree with our British and U.S. colleagues.(It's ONLY the 'politicaly Correct' Associations that 'say' they don't want the pilots to be armed. at the very least, pilots should be armed on all flights that do not carry air marshals)
Guide to Chrétien's 8-point reform plan
"I am humble enough to admit that mistakes have been made and determined enough to correct them," he told the Commons, without  elaborating. Opposition MPs lamented the lack of detail and dismissed his so-called "integrity plan" as an empty Liberal government public relations ploy rolled out only after the government faces a growing crisis of confidence about its  honesty. Mr. Chrétien says he drafted the plan "to better serve the public."(Think the term the PM is groping for is "Service the Public" There is not a farmer in Canada that does not know what the word 'service' means, and the Liberals are damn good at it. And, as long as urban Canadians keep voting these clowns into office, the public should expect to get 'Serviced' on  a on-going, continuous basis. Keep in mind, the PM maintains his government is honest, because "no-one' has been charged". I guess that's the criteria that Liberal politicians are working to. If you haven't been charged, then everything's OK!  )
Endowment Group Snubs Historian
ATLANTA –– The National Endowment for the Humanities  withdrew its name from a fellowship given to historian Michael Bellesiles, author of a disputed, prize-winning book about guns in America. Bellesiles was given a $30,000 NEH-funded fellowship by the Newberry Library to write a second book about guns.His first, "Arming America: The Origins of a National Gun Culture," has been criticized by other scholars who have accused Bellesiles of ideological bias,  selective scholarship and misleading statements. The Chicago-based Newberry Library erred in awarding the fellowship in February 2001, NEH officials said this week. "They failed to weigh and consider all the factors surrounding Professor Bellesiles' previous research, his proposed research, and indeed the credibility  of the researcher himself," NEH Chairman Bruce Cole said in a written statement.(No matter who writes what, regarding the pro-gun control stance, the 'facts' they present are always seem to be twisted and distorted. PM unveils new 'ethics'(?) policy
Canadian Alliance leader Stephen Harper called Mr. Chrétien's speech "20 minutes of self-congratulation" and little more than a public relations move. "What we have here is typical," Mr. Harper said. "Not a solid piece of public policy but the beginning of a months-long communications exercise." The Alliance put forward a motion Thursday calling for an independent ethics counsellor, saying a recent poll found that 69 per cent of Canadians believe the federal political system is corrupt because ministers of this government have failed to make public their secret code of conduct, have broken promises set out in the Liberal Party Red Book such as the one to appoint an independent ethics counselor and have failed to clear the air over allegations of abuse.(Their previous ethics policy of  'Don't get caught' seems to be failing! This government is so out of  touch with the people, it thinks there is nothing wrong, and is simply guilty of a few oversights.. Official rules out firearms for pilots
WASHINGTON - U.S. commercial passenger airline pilots will not be allowed to carry firearms during flights, but they may be permitted to carry stun guns or other nonlethal weapons to thwart terrorists, a top federal transportation official said yesterdayDuane Woerth, president of the Air Line Pilots Association International,  which represents 62,000 pilots at 42 airlines in the United States and Canada, persisted. "The government already has told us that if terrorists take control of one of our cockpits, they will send military aircraft to shoot down the airliner and all its crew and passengers," Woerth said. "In the face of such choices, we  do not understand why these same government officials refuse to give pilots a last chance to prevent such a tragedy."(I'm sure not all pilots, want to carry a gun. I am also just as sure that not all pilots are capable of carrying and/or using a gun in self defence, in fact some of them, although good pilots, could indeed be a danger to the aircraft and everyone on board. Think back to 'some' people you have seen on the shooting range that have made you shake your head in disbelief before someone stepped in and corrected the eminent safety problem! But, there are usually 3-4 people up front, and ONE of them should be armed. You also have to keep in mind, that the legislators that make these rules travel with 'armed' body guards and don't face the same risks as the general population although they would like to make you believe they do.)

Police trial gun unit becomes permanent

"In a war you have to take up  arms and people will get killed, and I can support that kind of action by petrol bombing and bombs under cars, and probably at a later stage, the shooting of vivisectors on their doorsteps," offered another from Britain's Animal Liberation Front.(I have 20 bucks that says this murdering  flake is a card carrying member of  PETA. Yet, the right wing media always seem to concentrate on groups like the NRA for example that have never firebombed, or killed anyone in their cause. Ban bloodless television hunting shows??
During my own years of hunting, I've watched grown men cry over dead bear or moose, and many times have seen hardened Eskimo hunters make subdued, formal gestures to propitiate the departed spirit of a wolf. I don't care if it's a squirrel or grouse on the back 40, the moments following a kill are a time for humility and respect, and for profound reflection on the brevity and sorrow of life -- both the animal's and our own Certainly there are no close-ups of glazed eyes and no play by play of butchering. It's tough to even  glimpse a drop of blood. Nothing ever dies on hunting TV. It's ''harvested'' or ''taken,'' as if wild, sentient beings were so many stalks of asparagus. (Oh! I see... Show the blood and guts that every hunter knows must be dealt with, to prepare the animal for food. Im sure that will happen, just as soon as Loblaws posts abattoir pictures of the slaughter next to their meat counters. Comments such as the ones in this article would only seem logical to the non hunter, or the anti hunter. Every REAL hunter, such as the 'Eskimos' he spoke of, deal with the kill in their own way, exposing their own feelings, about the animal 'harvested'. To dwell on the 'unnecessary' parts not being shown, is absurd, and only exposes the lack of personal experience in the taking of a life for food. The very reason there are no abattoir pictures over the meat counter. Inquiring minds do not want, or need to know 'that much')
S.A.-Victim shoots man in bungled EL robbery 
EAST LONDON -- A 30-year-old would-be armed robber was shot in the chest  yesterday after he and three others allegedly tried to rob a chemical business employee of R9000 in front of a city centre  bank here. One of the would-be robbers lashed at the employee with a knife and a fight ensued.  Another attacker then grabbed the bag and it fell to the ground.  The employee pulled out a gun and fired two warning shots before hitting one of the alleged robbers in the chest, causing the others to flee. S.A.- Brave resident thwarts armed robber 
KING WILLIAM'S TOWN -- A local resident, fed-up with spiralling crime in the town, put his life at risk here yesterday when he apprehended  a man who earlier attempted to rob him at gunpoint. They demanded cash and his cellphone and when "I told them to f... off, they responded by saying I was full of s...". "They then once again told me I was full of s... and left. I then saw them hold up another person down the road."  Mdyesha said he decided to take action and went home to fetch his firearm. When he returned he spotted the suspects walking in Maitland Road.  "I got out of the car and approached them from behind. I drew my firearm and ordered them to lie  down. I concentrated on the man I knew was  armed which allowed the second man to flee." (The 'Canadian' Government thinking is that when threatened with robbery 'don't fight back' Let the robber succeed, that way he will feel safe to rob again! perhaps even rape or kill the 'next' victim. This is why the 'unarmed' make such great victims, and give the criminal the feeling of success. After all, you are being disarmed by the Liberal "Culture of Safety", and that leaves the criminal a lot to feel safe about.)

A quarter of male students between the ages 11-16 and  5.6 percent of female students between these ages said that they have recently carried a weapon – a pocketknife, a club or a gun - to school for self defense. Some 44 percent of male students and 33 percent of female students between the age of 11-16 reported that they had seen a classmate carrying a weapon. (Israel, because of the current situation, has thousands of people carrying guns for self protection.  Reading the article from this link would make the average 'anti gun nut' cringe! There have been no incidents in Israel,  of students shooting people in schools! Guns in the family
As more women take up shooting, some moms find a day at the range helps bring the family together Peggy Siler's Mother's Day celebration began last Sunday. Not with roses or a dinner out, but with a trip to the shooting range. Since September 11th, many more people are have considered their situation as far as self defence is concerned. I personally watched over one 13 year old girl, who had never fired any type of  a gun before, use one of the clubs 'match' airguns to shoot the entire center out of the target. One enthusiastic six year old boy, leaning the rifle on the bench, put every shot in the black. The only thing bigger than the rifle he was shooting, was the Grin on his face.)

Liberal Policies Continue to Put  Convicted Killers Back on the Street
Conrad Brossard, 54,  was charged Monday in  the death of Cecile Clement, 55, a woman he may have met at a nursing home where he was doing community work while on parole. Mr. Brossard has on two different occasions been sentenced to life in prison.  He was convicted of murder in 1971, convicted of attempted murder after escaping from prison in 1982 and convicted of yet another attempted murder in 1988 while out on parole. In February, the National Parole Board again granted Mr. Brossard parole, permitting him to do community service while living in and reporting to a  halfway house under Correctional Services of Canada.(I have said on several occasions, parole board officials should be given 'free' housing in a gated compound with the people they parole. They would certainly put a hell of a lot more thought into releasing perverts, murderers, and other habitual criminals if it affected their families directly. If the parole board thinks these people are 'safe' they they should be prepared to back that up, by residing in a gated compound of halfway houses with them)

'Protected class' denies guns to others
It's no secret that members of the protected political class in America (and Canada) are often afforded special rights and privileges that, in theory, all of us are "guaranteed" but seldom can utilize to their fullest.  One of those privileges is the right to walk around without  fear of being killed by an armed criminal. That's because members of the protected political class lawmakers, policymakers and federal officials either have 24-7 armed protection provided them, or they are "allowed" to carry their own weapons for their own defense.  The vast majority of Americans are not so lucky. Their  Second Amendment rights are meted out to them in small, controlled doses by the protected class. (This has always been the case , all over the world. As a Canadian, I don't 'want' to carry a gun, unless I feel I absolutely need it. While making my business bank deposit at night for example. I just don't want my government to tell me that I can't.To tell me I can own a handgun,  keep it in my home,  carry it to the range any time, day or night 24/7, but not trustworthy enough to carry it when I need it is absolutely absurd. The fact that I have to hire some half  trained high school dropout from some security company 'who the government TRUSTS with a gun' to do something I am more than qualified to do myself, is ludicrous.)

In a shocking display of executive arrogance this week, Ashcroft single-handedly reversed 29 years of federal policy on guns. There were no hearings in Congress. No bill passed by the House or Senate. No vote of the people. Ashcroft didn't  bother with the democratic process. He simply announced that federal policy on guns had changed.  Since 1973, starting with President Nixon, the government's official position has been that the Second Amendment protects ownership of guns by state militias, and not unlimited ownership by individuals. Suddenly, that's no longer the case. In  Supreme Court papers filed on behalf of Ashcroft by Solicitor General Ted Olson, the government said it has changed its mind. (It would seem, that all of the Leaders of Left-wing newspapers, government reps., Organizations.. Etc.. That are usually protected by 'Armed' bodyguards, have lost the battle to prevent ordinary Americans the same level of defence. Individual Americans now have the RIGHT to 'bear' arms. The "well organized militia" line has no meaning unless the members (ordinary citizens) have guns. This only makes sense. Liberals have always 'won' in the past, by chipping away at your individual 'rights' until their ideology is finally entrenched. They are simply not used to the right 'Regaining' ground it had lost in the past. Canadian Liberals are No Different. EVERY incarnation of Liberal government in this Country has resulted in many of your "RIGHTS" being removed, supposedly for the Greater good of 'Liberal' society. MADRID - Jean Chrétien yesterday tentatively offered sanctuary in Canada to 13 Palestinian militants who have been under siege in Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity since April 2.  His comments were unprompted, having followed a question by a Spanish reporter about whether he considered the United States was justified in including Cuba in its expanded Axis of Evil. The 13 militants have been targeted by the Israelis as the most dangerous of the Palestinians inside the church, but the Israelis have agreed to allow them to be sent into exile if a country will agree to take them. (I propose, that if someone can't keep this 'doddling old Fart' from rambling around  with 'harebrained Ideas' such as this. The terrorists should be re-located , and confined to, for at least 5 years,  the area of Shawinagan PQ. Let him endanger his own community FIRST. Gad.. This man is so Stupid it's utterly amazing!)
Eco-activist charged with Fortuyn murder
AMSTERDAM: Dutch prosecutors charged an animal rights campaigner today with the murder of anti-immigrant politician Pim Fortuyn. (How many times, 'anywhere' in the world, has a "firearm rights campaigner", went out and killed someone, to get his or her point across?? Kind of lets you know what group all the crazies belong to doesn't it? And the scary thing is, the 'Government' seems to listen to these 'fringe flakes' in this country!)
Gun laws don't reduce crime
Around the world, from Australia to England, countries that have recently strengthened gun-control laws with the promise of lowering crime have instead  seen violent crime soar. In the four years after the U.K. banned handguns in 1996, gun crime rose by an  astounding 40%. Since Australia's 1996 laws banning most guns and making it a crime to use a gun defensively, armed robberies rose by 51%, unarmed robberies by 37%, assaults by 24% and kidnappings  by 43%. While murders fell by 3%, manslaughter rose by 16%.  Gun-control advocates conveniently ignore that the countries with the highest homicide rates have gun  bans.(Perhaps for once, our poll and statistics loving government should have a look at what these policies have accomplished 'everywhere' else in the world. NOT ONE country has ever had success in lowing crime and criminal access to firearms. What it shows, is the Liberals MUST have some other agenda for wanting this type of control on firearms. )

Even if they stick to the 'estimated' low numbers they have, it's going to take 4 more years to get the rest.. The other 5-6 million will be ignored, and deemed 'vapour arms' and non existent. The emperor has no guns either!! 
Liberal ad contracts 'completely unacceptable'

It's one thing when criminals steal guns or illegally import them as a means of bypassing Ottawa's farce of a gun registry. But the Boucher story shows the ultimate flaw in the Liberals' $800-million black hole: it doesn't even stop criminals from legally obtaining weapons! Cauchon's reply? "I do not know why the honourable member keeps attacking the gun registry system, which is a very good system that we, as the government, have put in place." If this is a "very good system," we'd hate to see what a really bad gun registry would look like. (AMEN!!)
GANGSTER REGISTERED FOUR GUNS LEGALLY 
Hells Angels leader Maurice "Mom" Boucher proved Canada's gun registry system is not bulletproof when he legally obtained four weapons licences, the opposition charged yesterday. Canadian Alliance MP Garry Breitkreuz demanded Justice Minister Martin Cauchon explain how a convicted murderer like Boucher was able to easily register a handgun and three pump-action shotguns with the National Firearms Registry. Cauchon dodged Breitkreuz's question, insisting the gun registry is a success. "The gun registry system has been working very well on the licensing side and on the registration side," Cauchon shot back.  Boucher's guns were discovered when Quebec police raided Boucher's home two years ago. The guns were legally stored, police said, and they held valid firearm permits (AHHH Well.. I guess its ok if they were complying with the Law: But how the hell did he get the Licence and registration for them if the system is working so "Well". I guess the Liberal interpretation is: its working well 'for the criminals'.. Feel Safer? I didn't think so! A Billion Dollars Well Spent? What the Hell Were they Thinking?) 
New York announces 'cash for guns' program (ho humm, another one)
NEW YORK (May 8, 2002 9:00 a.m. EDT) - In the latest effort to get guns off the streets, New York City officials announced a "cash for guns" program  that will pay people $100, no questions asked, if they turn in an operable firearm to police.(Anything that gets illegal guns off the street is fine with me, but frankly I doubt if many criminals will give up a gun they can get several hundred for in thriving black markets, such as is emerging in Canada thanks to C-68, for a hundred bucks and go work at McDonald's. They'll get guns, but not the ones that are causing the problems.)
Italian Government Sees the Light! Whats Wrong With Canada?
In Italy, the Minister of Defense, Antonio Martino, recently announced his support for private gun ownership. "Gun control disarms law-abiding citizens, not criminals," he said. Martino, who was a professor before becoming defense minister, observed that gun laws only affect the law-abiding, not criminals: When gun-control laws were passed, I neither saw any member of the Mafia giving up his shotguns, nor any terrorist giving surrendering Kalashnikovs. Instead, I saw retired officers giving up their issue guns. Actually, we disarmed law-abiding citizens, and that resulted in leaving  weapons in the hands of those who don't obey the laws.  Professor Martino's statement is the strongest ever  uttered in favor of gun rights by an Italian minister since at least 1931,when modern Italian gun control was imposed by Mussolini's fascist regime. As  Machiavelli explained in The Prince, "When you disarm your subjects you offend them by showing that, either for cowardliness or lack of faith, you distrust them; and either conclusion will induce them to hate you." (Why are the heads of our politicians, so goddamn thick? EXACTLY the same thing is happening in Canada. The Government is Disarming the Law Abiding, and not only ignoring punishment for the criminal use of firearms, but actually giving people like Hells Angel, "Mom" Boucher a firearms licence, and registering guns for him. The liberal government should pull their heads out of their asses, and realize that very few people are going to register ALL their guns for future confiscation by these paranoids, with a 'television' education of firearms. As a result, MILLIONS of guns will be out there, and this whole stupid, BILLION DOLLAR BRAIN FART, will go down in history as the useless, Liberal government, 'people control' attempt that it actually is. BIG NEWS- US Government says individuals have right to bear arms
WASHINGTON - The Justice Department has for the first time made the argument to the Supreme Court that the Second Amendment guarantees individuals a right to have guns, not just members of government militias. The Bush administration has given political support to broader rights for gun owners, and Attorney General John Ashcroft has stated a constitutional argument for them. All previous administrations have taken a traditional (knee jerk hoplaphobic)view of gun rights before the Supreme Court.(The 'originators' of gun rights in the U.S. constitution, gave Americans that right, to protect themselves and the country from despot governments. To interpret this right as to allow only a government organized militia to have firearms is absurd, and defeats the whole purpose their constitution authors had in mind. Canadians on the other hand, have always been 'ruled'. First by Britain, and now by Chrétien and his cronies who have recently deemed non-voteable, a bill that would have given Canadians the right to own property. Canadian Do Not currently have that right. Don't forget to Thank a Liberal for this situation during the next election )
Vengeance and death in escalating bikers' war
The authorities say the killings were the latest in a bloody war that is raging across the United States, Canada and even Europe, as several bike gangs have teamed against the Hells Angels in competition for turf, title and cash. The struggle has killed more than 150 people in the last eight years in Canada, the authorities say, and it turned deadly on Long Island, New York, in February, when a brawl between the Angels and a rival gang, the Pagans, left one Pagan dead. (In addition to the vast "Culture of Safety" the Liberals have attributed to C-68, it has been reported on a Toronto Radio Show, that that "Mom" Boucher owned 4 legally registered firearms!! If the CFC will give the President of the Hells Angles 'Nomads', a firearms licence, and register his guns, and still say the firearms system "Is working Well", it only continues to point out the absurdity of this whole farce.   Is he the ONLY Criminal in Canada that HAS registered guns!! Response to invitation to pick up firearms results in gangbuster raid
Mr. Daniels informed the Ontario Provincial Police that he also possessed  three legally registered handguns under lock and key at his mother's house on Mortimer Avenue in Toronto. The firearms were souvenirs brought from Europe by his late father, a war veteran. "As she slumped against the inner door [Special Officer Michael] Press forced his way in, grabbed her by the back of her neck, his other hand pushing on her back, forcing her to her knees. He then jerked her right arm past the back of her neck with a hammerlock, crushed her thorax with his legs, forcing  her body to the floor."(Feel like volunteering information to the police? Read This, it will make you think twice. Since bill C-68 began it's assault on the general public,  when a police officer is asked to 'pick up guns' at a residence (for any reason), it automatically becomes a "GUN CALL", and YOUR life in in danger from 'some' of those, that are over zealous to 'Serve and Protect". The Liberal's Election Gag Law Being Used Against Critics
OTTAWA - A complaint from a senior Liberal official led to charges being laid against the National Citizens' Coalition for allegedly breaching laws restricting "third party" advertising during election campaigns. Gerry Nicholls, an NCC vice-president, says the letter is proof the Liberals are using the election gag law as a tool to silence their critics. "The charge against us is nothing but a sham," he said.(By the time the 'next' election rolls around, the citizens of this country will 'know' exactly what kind of corruption exists within this government, Do YOU plan to vote Liberal? Opposition throwing mud, Chretien says
The Prime Minister denied his  government is plagued by corruption. "Nothing has been proven and the opposition is only trying to throw mud," he told the House. Opposition MPs accused Mr. Chrétien of failing to grasp what they meant by corruption, which they defined as "widespread moral deterioration."(Probably, Throwing "Mud" at a liberal will get you nothing!! Want something from a liberal? Try throwing 'Money', Taxpayers money, and lots of it! 'That's' what their used to, and they catch 'very well', and then hand it off to friends and colleagues)
PM defends $200-million program
With his answer in the House, Mr. Chrétien tried to push aside attacks on the program that was panned by two teams of federal auditors and is expected to lead to an RCMP investigation into a Liberal-friendly firm. He rejected any charges of corruption, but he was placed on the defensive by reports that the Auditor-General Wednesday will recommend an RCMP investigation into $1.6-million in contracts to Groupaction Marketing Inc. The company produced two nearly identical reports that cost taxpayers  $550,000 and $575,000 respectively. The opposition said in the House that rather than serving national unity, the federal funds were more likely used to line Liberal pockets. Many of the advertising firms that obtained contracts under the sponsorship program  were generous donors to the Liberal Party of Canada.  "I wonder if the government understands it has a problem with corruption,  with mismanagement and in fact with integrity itself," Alliance MP Randy White said in the House.(CAUGHT with their grubby little hands in the cookie jar! AGAIN.and AGAIN. The Liberal government will resort to what they do best, and that's try to lie and cover-up the damage.
