Massive
Commons security overhaul possible
The plainclothed guards are responsible for guarding Jean Chrétien,
the Prime Minister, visiting dignitaries and Cabinet ministers. They may
also have their .38-calibre revolver-style pistols replaced with semi-automatic
nine-millimetre handguns, Mr. Thivierge said.(Gee,
don't you think that equipping guards with automatic handguns that hold
eighteen rounds rather than the 6 shot 38's , only 'increases' the potential
for violence? Don't you think they should just call 911 as required by
the 'front line border employees' that guard the entire country?
See how stupid that sounds? I guess when its YOUR asses on the line things
are different aren't they?
Police
cannot seize TV dishes, court rules
The Liberal 'hand picked' Supreme Court, will
decide if you can watch 'Liberally frowned on' foreign television broadcast
beamed directly from foreign sources via satellite. Three Provincial Supreme
Court Decisions have said there in nothing in Federal Law to prevent it.
I wonder how big the Liberal political contributions from BCE and StarChoice
have been in the past? Perhaps Canadians should allow the Liberals to 'Filter'
what they see and hear? I think I, like most Canadians, will bend over
and give them something to kiss.
Liberals
quickly drop decorum drive
OTTAWA - After calling for an end to "the extreme, the excessive
language" heard in Parliament last week, the Liberals yesterday accused
the Canadian Alliance of advocating a police state and favouring
the extremist politics of France's Jean-Marie Le Pen. Mr. Manley
complained that Alliance MPs were trying "to create the impression that
somehow there are terrorists under every bush."(Well,
maybe not under every "bush", but certainly under every Chrétien..
"Come To Canada!!! Vote Liberal" )
Finally!!!
The Backbench Sheep Begin To Bleat!!
''They're pissed off with the way in which
they are expected to be here to support something they are hearing
a lot of negatives about. They're pissed off about being told how they
will think ... and they just feel they are being used, abused, you name
it, any number of things ... and that truly they have become merely voting
machines.'' Mr. Mills said he was in touch with a number of Liberal MPs
over the weekend. ''They are really concerned about this. This is potentially
damaging to some of them as the [gun control bill] was. Mr. Anderson told
reporters he is determined to get his bill through the House. ''We campaigned
on this particular type of legislation, talking about the co-operative
approach with the people of Canada and that's the mandate we got from them
when we were elected.''.(36% of the popular
vote does not give you a "mandate" to do anything!! Perhaps if this rebellion
started in 1995 a BILLION dollars wasted on the "[gun
control bill] " could have been re-directed
into Police or Health care. But like faithful sheep, they acted like the
voting machine they are, and approved the string of lies put forward by
their 'Political Masters'..Well, better late than never! But will it make
any difference? I doubt it.. )
British
Armed police to crack down on gun crime
Residents in three areas of south Manchester are to see armed police
on routine patrols following four incidents in the past six weeks where
officers have been threatened at gunpoint.(Since
the Great British Gun Ban, only the criminals have guns. The new, larger,
black market has assured this. By Banning legal guns, the creation of a
black market is virtually assured. Then, ANYONE can get ANYTHING they need
to take what YOU have. Defenceless people make the best victims. Even the
British Police are now realizing this! )
Arming
pilots the surest route to safer skies
We trust the pilot with our lives. It's time to trust him with a
firearm. Our pilots want that choice and most Americans support them. A
firearm might have allowed our pilots to stop those terrorists on Sept.
11 from taking over four of our airplanes and killing thousands of Americans.
A stun gun would never have done the job -- not on Sept. 11 or any other
day. When a pilot has only one chance to stop a terrorist -- when he is
the last thing standing between landing the plane safely or having
it shot down by an F-16 missile -- that pilot needs to be armed with a
gun. (If they arm the U.S. Pilots, Canadians will
be much safer flying on U.S. owned airlines. The Canadian ones with 'unarmed'
pilots on board will be used for further attacks against targets in the
U.S. and Canada. Terrorists are not entirely stupid, they will certainly
choose
the safest flight for 'themselves' and that's the one that won't result
in frangible bullets disintegrating in their bodies.)
U.S.
Customs Looking for New Inspectors
WASHINGTON -- The Customs Service, as part of its efforts against
terrorism, is looking to recruit more than 1,000 inspectors to beef up
security at the nation's border crossings. The agency hopes to have
the new inspectors in place by the first or second quarter of the 2003
budget year, which begins on Oct. 1, a spokeswoman said. Inspectors must
complete an 11-week program that includes educational coursework, physical
training and firearms training. (Canadian Border
'employees' are not armed, and have been instructed to simply let armed
/ dangerous people into the country, and dial 911. The police will try
to find them 'before' they vanish into the major target cities. Does Liberal
Policy make YOU feel safer? I didn't think so!)
'Thin
edge of the wedge' Goes deeper: Australia looks to extend gun ban
Prime Minister John Howard said Tuesday Australia had too
many handguns and that the federal government would look at what it could
do to bring down the numbers. Howard said part of
the difficulty in cracking down on handguns was that the ownership laws
were determined by State governments, not federal legislation.
(Pay attention folks. The Liberal Supreme Court has already decided that
the Feds control your ownership rights on guns, and the Liberals simply
have to make a "Order in Council" to further extend their irrational fears
to other firearms in your legal possession. This is what is eventually
planned for Canadians. The Liberals have already banned .25 & .32 Cal.
Handguns, and barrels 105 mm or less. The "thin edge of the wedge" has
started, and they won't be satisfied until a huge Black Market exists here
as well. Australia now has more "black-market" guns on the street than
ever before. Welcome to the "Canadian Criminal Culture of Safety")
GOVERNMENT
ADMITS TO WHAT THE GUN REGISTRY HAS COST AND WILL COST
$978,260,000
You could spend $1300.00, every day, of every
week, of every year, from the birth of Christ 2002 years ago, right up
until today, and not have spent the amount of money that has been wasted
on this useless farce. This is Liberal Hoplophobia run wild, and the Canadian
Taxpayer is footing the bill. This is also more money than the Government
has given to the Canadian Cancer Society in 52 years. How many lives COULD
this money have saved if directed to a REAL threat to the Canadian Public.
To
Quote Senator Stratton:"The concern
I have is that this is $689 million, which is virtually $600 million more
than the minister promised it would be. How can someone be that incredibly
wrong? I know you can go through the litany of reasons forever, but I guarantee
you, because of September 11 you will never get people to register. After
that event, there is no way. That is a forecast. I should not say it, but
I am making that prediction, because if you think people will register
their firearms after September 11, forget it."..
And, I think the Majority of Canadians Would Agree.

Gun
show features new ways to hide arms
"After Sept. 11, we got thousands of people asking for our holsters,"
Ms. Wiesner said in her lively Texas drawl, as her husband showed a dozen
observers how to blow the head off an assailant from a sitting position.
"People started thinking about terrorism and decided to get real about
self-protection." Indeed, last year's terror attacks led to a dramatic
surge in gun sales across the United States for a few weeks. And in recent
months, several states have moved to weaken or eliminate laws banning concealed
firearms. Forty-four of 50 states currently allow citizens to carry
hidden pistols in public in at least some circumstances.(In
EACH of these 44 states, the crime rate has dropped, and the fear mongers
warnings of shoot-outs in the street have not happened. In Canada, a minimum
wage, high school educated person can get a minimum trained job with a
security company, and carry a handgun for his or her protection. But,
a college educated IPSC black badge holder, and owner of his or her
own business, is deemed to be too 'untrustworthy, and dangerous' to carry
his or her own firearm, while making his or her business bank deposit at
night. This could only make sense to a Liberal)
HUGE
Farm Losses Due To Gun Control & Decrease In Hunters
GUELPH (CP) - Giant Canada geese are continuing to threaten farmers'
crops as their population numbers continue to soar. The birds' population
is 400,000 and rising since its reintroduction to southern Ontario
in the late 1960s, said the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association.
Increases in hunting costs as well as plenty of food and a clean natural
habitat have made for perfect breeding conditions for the geese, the
group said. A 1998-1999 study by the group found that
the geese accounted for 40 per cent of wildlife-caused losses in wheat
and forage crops, 18 per cent in soybeans and seven per cent in corn. (Sales
of Migratory bird permits have dropped 63.5% since the high of 524,926
in 1978 to 191,444 in year 2000. And I'm sure you will see a more drastic
drop in 01 and 02 as hunters stick millions of unregistered shotgun away
in a closet someplace until this registration farce is finally recognized
for the HUGE Financial and economic waste it is, and repealed!
NZ
Man kills home invader & is charged for having a Firearm
AUCKLAND - Residents of a small West Auckland town have been warned
to lock their homes and cars as police hunt for two armed and dangerous
men involved in a home invasion killing. Detective Senior Sergeant Mike
Bush said the occupants did not know the dead man or the two hunted men.
The dead man had been identified but not all his relatives had been told
so his name would not be released for some time. Police later announced
one of the occupants of the house was due to appear in Waitakere District
Court today on a charge of possessing a firearm. The occupant was
in the house with his partner and two young children when the three armed
intruders arrived last night. (CLEARLY, if
this fellow did not have a firearm, HE would be the one lying dead, and
his two young children would not have a father! This is how asinine these
stupid, restrictive, firearms laws are. They benefit ONLY the criminal.
Even the police admitted they were armed and dangerous, but this guy has
been charged for not allowing himself or his family to be killed! Gun Control
Works---For the Criminal!)
Australian
Handgun ban call in Celebration of 6 Yr. Anniversary
ANTI-GUN lobbyists have called on a complete ban on handguns across
Australia to coincide with the sixth anniversary of the Port Arthur
massacre. Convenor of the Coalition for Gun Control Samantha Lee
said many Australians did not realise handguns were still legal in this
country, despite a ban on semi-automatic rifles in the wake of the Port
Arthur tragedy six years ago today.(Well, any old
reason seems to be good enough to relieve people of their right to self
defence. The fellow blamed for Port Arthur, used a firearm that had
been turned in to the police for destruction during one of their 'amnesties'
but had 'somehow' fell off the conveyor belt on the way to the 'gun crusher',
and there are numerous web sites dedicated to the Port Arthur conspiracy
)
Expelled
student kills 16, self at school in Germany
Two hours after the shooting in Erfurt began, Germany's parliament
approved a government proposal to further tighten already strict weapons
laws. The proposal, which now goes to the upper house, requires a license
to carry gas-powered and blank pistols, banned several kinds of knives
completely and mandated separate storage of guns and ammunition.(The
fact that this teenage misfit had numerous run-ins with teachers, and lived
a life of violent music & video games. These NEW gun laws ought to
'really' make a difference. After all, the old ones didn't seem to have
any effect!)
There

file
(Currently 221 people have been charged/dismissed/warned/
reprimanded etc.. and 193 more are currently under investigation. This
is 'supposed' to be a very secure system. How safe do you think your firearms
information is in the CFC database.. Pretty scary eh! The Hells Angels
and many other criminals KNOW where to find your guns already, I'm sure
they have people on the inside. Remember, Registration IS NOT a safety
issue according to the government!)
60
Minutes report paints the country as a hotbed for at least 50 terrorist
organizations.
According to a CBS News press release, Mr. Harris says Canadian
intelligence officials have established "that we have 50 terrorist organizations
now on our soil. They range in scope from the IRA to Hezbollah, Hamas and
certainly al-Qaeda." Mr. Harris adds that he has "no doubt" that some groups
in Canada are plotting against the United States, according to the release.(Yes,
but they all vote Liberal, so it's OK)
New
recruits plot in bedroom bomb factories
"The resistance will go for a million years," said Hussam Mughrabi,
a house painter, whose home in Balata was blown apart when the Israeli
forces fired a rocket at gunmen hiding in the alley below. And as
Ali and his cell of the al-Aqsa Brigade so amply demonstrate, there is
no shortage of recruits, and the training process is fast. Two months ago,
Ali admits, he had no idea how to make a bomb. Now he can assemble one
within a few minutes on his porch - his mother says the devices are too
messy and smelly to manufacture in his bedroom - and children as young
as five construct simple devices, packing a combustible mixture of
fertiliser, explosives and metal debris into an 18cm length of metal pipe.
(Combine
this with the fact that OUR government is sending 8 million
in aid to the Palestinians via the United Nation that also supports
this murderous pack, and you will see just how far the Liberals really
have their heads up their asses)
Chinese
Shooter Welcome the New Firearms
SHANGHAI, April 26 (Xinhuanet) -- The 2000 Sydney Olympic
Champions Tao Luna of China said she welcome the newly developed
laser-like firearms on Friday. "The pistols and rifles like these ones
will greatly promote the popularization of the shooting sports in the world."
Tao told Xinhua, "Because of the strict limit to the use of firearms
worldwide, the shooting sports are hard to be as popular as soccer."The
International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) is willing
to introduce a new laser-like firearms, which using radials instead
of bullets, into the competitions to replace the former air pistol
and rifle. Horst G. Schreiber, general secretary of the ISSF, said on
Thursday that the proposal would be discussed at next general assembly
of ISSF, which will be held on July at Finland. "No bullets and no harm.
These kind of arms would be very popular among shooting fans." said
Tao. Also
See: ISSF to Introduce New Laser-like Firearms(I
would think that this is largely being promoted by the Chinese Government
in an effort to prevent the ownership and importation of guns by the 'peasants'
from all countries competing in shooting sports at the next Olympics, in
the wonderful free society of China. I'm sure the Chinese Government is
simply 'thrilled' with the idea of target shooters bringing guns into such
a democratic country, where only the Police and Military are legally armed.
Just the way Allan Rock & the Liberals Want Canada to be. )
Another
nut with a gun
RFURT, Germany - Eighteen people, including 14 teachers, were killed
at a German school when an armed teen-ager opened fire on Friday, police
said. Germany already has strict laws governing the right to a gun but
experts say the country is awash with illegal weapons smuggled into the
country from eastern Europe and the Balkans. People wanting to buy a hunting
rifle must undergo checks that can last a year, while those wanting a gun
for sport must be a member of a club and obtain a license from the
police. (Oh yes, I can see where MORE gun control
laws to make 'black market guns' an even more lucrative business is going
to solve this problem! And I'm just as sure this was a 'normal' teenager
with a 'normal' home life, that was simply affected by the radiation emitted
by another evil gun. Had he drove a truck over 30 people at a bus stop,
how many would blame the 'availability' of trucks?)
Gun
Registry Estimated to Cost ANOTHER $113.5 Million in 2002/2003
This 'underestimate' will put this farce 7
HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS over budget. Thats MORE than the Government has
spent on Canadian Cancer Society research in the last 52 years. How many
people do YOU know that have died from cancer? How many people do YOU know
that have been shot by duck hunters? Which funding allocation do you think
would have saved more lives?
Italy's
illegal immigrants
"Sometimes I'm scared witless," says Stefania, not wanting
to give her last name. "I sleep with a gun under my pillow." She is probably
not the only one. Sales of handguns have risen sharply in the area, according
to the owner of one of two gun shops that now service the tranquil lakeside
town of Como just down the road. "I see the look on their faces when they
come through the door," says gun shop owner Aurelio Corti as he displays
his best-selling weapon, a 9-mm Beretta.(If the popular
Baretta has a barrel length of 105 mm or less, the Canadian Liberals
have deemed this defensive firearm 'prohibited', unless of course, you
yourself, have been blessed with the 'safety gene' inherited, because
you owned a short barrel in 1998. This 'safety gene' can also be passed
on to your next of kin, IF your gun is one of the less dangerous
ones made before 1946??? Other than that, you will have to call the manufacturer
and order a barrel that is ONE millimetre longer to obviously make the
gun a whole lot safer.. Aren't Italians lucky they don't have our government)
Unseen
stories: When Guns are Used in Self-Defense
The major networks affect opinion by what they don't show as
much as by what does appear on our television screens. Nothing illustrates
this more clearly than the unseen side of the gun issue. For
instance, when was the last time the networks interviewed someone
who used a gun in self-defense? Since these cases are almost never
shown in the national media, millions of viewers assume that they never
happen. School shootings, stories of employees going postal and gunning
down co-workers, and even gang-related shootings are regular fare on television
news. But because stories of armed self-defense are unseen, the implication
is that guns are only used for harmful or criminal purposes.(This
is also 'more' than true for Canada, even the police try to cover up incidents
where an armed 'potential' victim defended him or herself with a firearm.
When ever a defence happens, if it's not covered up, it's usually
'cryptically' reported as this one was last January click
here and read "Police Find Gun" Self defence
with a firearm 'still' happens over 60,000 times a year in this country:

from journal of Criminal Justice Vol. 24 No. 5 pp 393-406)
The
Guns of April
The National Rifle Association and its allies believe that rural
and suburban gun owners, many of them union members or blue-collar workers,
mistrust Democrats in Washington because Democrats in Washington don't
trust them to handle their own affairs, and by implication, their own guns.
Democrats, their boosters in the national media, and liberal city-dwellers
who never handle guns and take what they knew about firearms from their
equally-as-ignorant friends, can't understand that guns are instruments
of family cohesion, a focal point for sport, game, or collections. (Now
Doesn't 'this' all sound familiar? Don't confuse most urban folks with
facts. They KNOW that 7-11 is being held up by a 'punk with a gun' , and
they KNOW 'duck hunters' have guns too! So it only stands to reason!
If you disarm the duck hunters, you've solved 'half' the problem!! And
this could only make sense to a Liberal!)
PM
instructs MPs to tell nation 'we're honest'
In a rallying call to his government, Mr.
Chrétien defended his MPs in the House of Commons and told them
in a caucus meeting that it is time to "go ahead and fight
the press" and tell
the nation "we're honest."(Ya 'Right'. Have
they ever lied to us before? "Tell" us the Liberals are Honest? It'll be
just another statement from what the public perceives to be another Lying
politician. Come on Jean, now you say your "Honest", Give us the
truth about this gun control agenda. Seeing that there is absolutely NO
EVIDENCE that it is doing anything but wasting money, Almost a Billion
to date, Why are you SILL flushing taxpayers dollars down the toilet with
this farce. How about telling the Justice Department to be "Honest" and
release the REAL figures on the money wasted, and ADMIT they lied to parliament,
fudged RCMP Documents, and falsely inflated gun crime statistics by almost
10 times the REAL Number to push this pack of lies into law for some
hidden agenda. The ONLY Reason no Liberal politicians have resigned,
SEE: Chrétien
rises to Copps's defence , is because YOUR GOVERNMENT has not forced
any of them to. At least Mulroney had the guts to kick 'tainted'
crooked assholes out of office. But, they fit in so well with the rest
of your bunch. Why piss off liars, and thieves, that might be some
use to you in the future. HONEST LIBERAL ? ..Give me a break... THAT'S
An Oxymoron if I ever heard one.)
"Honest"
Liberals Backtracking on massive Power Grab
OTTAWA - The Liberal government will kill
controversial anti-terrorism legislation and replace it with a new bill
to dramatically soften proposals that would have given Cabinet ministers
wide powers to infringe on the civil rights of Canadians without parliamentary
oversight. "When they sat down to say, 'OK, how are we going to fix it?'
they realized they had a big enough job that they really needed a whole
new bill," an insider said.(Really! and the
Gun Control Bill is working Fine? When is IT going to be replaced?
Beware of Liberals bearing gifts! I have no doubt the "honest" liberals
have something else up their sleeves. 'Jeans' bunch won't give up power
easily, call me 'untrusting', but something 'else' is afoot.. Mark my words!)
Alliance
MP blocks day honouring the military
OTTAWA - A Canadian Alliance MP yesterday
blocked a motion to honour Canada's military by declaring the
first Sunday of every June Canadian Forces Day, by denying it the unanimous
consent necessary to get the measure passed speedily.Mr. Kenney told the
handful of MPs in the Commons at the time he would consent to the
motion only if he could get unanimous consent to allow a vote on his private
member's bill -- urging two minutes of silence, instead of one, for Remembrance
Day.(This is not what it would seem at first
glance. The Liberals have a strict policy of not letting ANY private members
bill pass. This bill would have, in all likelihood passed if the vote were
allowed. THIS would undermine the agenda of the "Honest" Liberals!! NOTHING
BUT LIBERAL BILLS ON THE LIBERAL AGENDA GET PASSED BY THE LIBERAL PARLIAMENT..
NO EXCEPTION ALLOWED.. It's this very rule that have even Liberal Backbenchers
speaking out but not very loudly
against their own government. Mr Kenney was simply trying to get a private
members bill passed!! ANY BILL.. Nope.. Won't Happen)
RCMP
REPORT 132% ERROR RATE IN GUN REGISTRY APPLICATIONS
Ottawa – Today, Garry Breitkreuz, Official Opposition Critic on
Firearms and Property Rights, released a damning document the government
has been trying to keep secret for the last nine months. “We had
other documents that the gun registry was experiencing a 90 per cent error
rate, but now we have the details that show it’s far worse than we thought,”
said Breitkreuz. “In addition to the 90 per cent error rate in applications,
the RCMP now tell us that there is also a 42% error rate in the description
of the firearms. The alarm bells should be sounding in the head of
every police officer in the country; especially, since the Justice Minister,
their chiefs and their union bosses have been promising them since 1994
that the information in the registry would be accurate,” explained Breitkreuz.
“Today,
the problem with errors in the gun registry is even worse than it was nine
months ago because the Justice Minister ordered a stop to firearms verification
to try and meet the arbitrary registration deadline at the end of this
year.” (How long does it take to process and
register a firearm? – Approx. 48 hours. There is absolutely no point in
continuing this entire farce. There is NO safety aspect anymore, the registry
is simply a big data garbage dump, it's 6 to 7 hundred million dollars
over budget, it seems to have lost the support of every police association
in the country, their own employees acknowledge the big joke by allowing
the registration of things like soldering guns to go through the system
un-hampered. The firearms act itself is a huge incomprehensible jumble
of laws, regulations, Orders in council, and a bewildering myriad of interpretations
based entirely on who picks up the phone at the CFC. It does absolutely
nothing to take firearms out of the hands of criminal, but has had 'some'
success at disarming the law abiding victims. If the feds can not come
up with a VERIFIABLE safety reason for this mess, it should be repealed
immediately. Enough is Enough!

Comment on the Military Ignorance of our Government
Gen. Edwards noticed the Canadian qualities.
News organizations noticed. So why was Ottawa caught by surprise? Because
the federal Liberal government habitually pays no mind to the military.
It takes a U.S. general to point out that our forces are actually doing
a great job. This is not a government that stands on ceremony when it has
the political will to get something done -- such as awarding a lucrative
contract or grant. If it really cared about boosting military morale, it
would have moved Heaven and Earth to make sure the snipers got their awards.
It would not have compounded the offence of not noticing their work by
getting in the way when somebody else did. Ottawa should immediately give
its permission for the award of Bronze Stars, then get out of the way.(We
have some of the best Snipers in the World. How embarrassing for our Liberal
Hoplophobes!)
U.K.-
Where ONLY the Criminals have guns
Customs officers in Felixstowe have seized a consignment of machine-guns,
pistols, and grenades. Officers from Scotland Yard's anti-terrorist squad
were called in, but police believe it is more likely that the weapons were
destined for the criminal underworld than Irish terrorists or Islamic extremists.
There have been a growing number of shootings in Britain involving
crime gangs, particularly among rival drug dealers. The number of murders
and shootings in London has reached a record high, with 190 killings in
the past year. A large proportion of the incidents in London have been
between crack cocaine dealers. Senior detectives have raised concerns
about the growing availability of firearms throughout Britain, with a large
number being smuggled in from Eastern Europe.(It
certainly looks like 'strict' gun control is working. The Victim list grows
longer every day. This Violent crime level (Which
now exceeds New York City's) will be in Canada Soon.. Don't forget to
thank a Liberal!)

WINNIPEG - A judge has ruled that police chief
Jack Ewatski will not have to testify at an inquest into the murders of
two women who died despite their repeated calls to police for help. Chief
Ewatski has been accused by 911 operators, who have testified at the inquest,
of ignoring problems such as staff shortages and poor morale.(Remember!
The Police are NOT required by law to even show up for a 911 call. To Serve
and Protect means the 'Community' NOT the Individual. If they don't show,
or arrive too late to save you, or anyone else from criminal attack,
You are On Your Own. Do What you have to do, to protect yourself.)
Our
Government Further Insults Our Snipers, and Puts Hold on the Award of the
U.S. Bronze Star!
"Canadians
don't kill -- they don't even use the word kill; that's the problem," he
said. "I think the military is not sure that the government is prepared
to accept the fact, let alone celebrate the fact ... that Canadian soldiers
do sometimes end up killing people." Crawling up into a good position,
they set up their .50-calibre rifle -- the MacMillan Tac-50, a weapon the
corporal compares to having superhuman power in your hands. "Firing
it feels like someone slashing you on the back of your hockey helmet
with a hockey stick." "All I thought of was Sept. 11th and all those people
who didn't have a chance and the American reporter who was taken
hostage, murdered and his wife getting the videotape of the execution;
that is my justification." During the next four days of fighting, the Newfoundland
corporal set what is believed to be a record for a long-distance
shot under combat conditions, hitting an enemy gunman at a distance of
2,430 metres. (Thats 2656 Yards! Thats 1.5
Miles! Thats Amazing!!! )
For
a False Sense of Security, United pilots are training with stun guns
You could run out of power on the stun gun,"
said Capt. Dennis Dolan of the Air Line Pilots Association. "Or in the
case of September 11, there was more than one terrorist. There's
an issue with recharging and reloading the stun gun. It's a single-shot
type of weapon." "If we've learned any lessons from September 11,
the answer is, 'No, it's not good enough. If we're going to do this, we
should do it right.'" The former head of the Federal Aviation Administration's
security division, Billie Vincent, agrees, calling stun guns merely "feel-good
security." "There's no way that a person with a stun gun, regardless of
how well they're trained -- forget about the movies-- would ever stand
up after the second hijacker. They're dead. So you have to have a standoff
weapon," Vincent said. (Does anyone consider
that a missed shot with a stun gun may pump 50,000 volts through a sensitive
piece of electronic equipment on the flight deck and cause the destruction
of the aircraft? A frangible bullet is MUCH safer? In Canada, Our
Pilots are training with nothing because that's what our government
thinks your life is worth. Remember, they can still demand your last years
taxes after your dead, so they have nothing to loose!)

forced into pornography by her criminal husband
at gunpoint. Boreman (lovelace)said she was never paid a penny for Deep
Throat and her husband only was paid $1,250 US, though the film grossed
a reported $600 million. She was 53. Boreman was in a car accident April
3 south of Denver and was taken to Denver Health Medical Center with
massive trauma and internal injures, hospital spokeswoman Sara Spaulding
said. She was taken off life support and died about 3 p.m.(Her
autobiography, while very down on the adult movie industry in general,
makes it clear that the set of Deep Throat, far from being the living hell
you might expect, was actually a release and refuge for her from the abuses
of her then-husband.)
70%
of Canadians 'rightfully' believe political systems are corrupt
"The level of crookedness that we have come to expect from our politicians
is so high that indeed people can get away with anything," the University
of Ottawa's Paquet said in an interview. "The cynicism is so profound
that it will take something absolutely extraordinary to reach people. Their
sensitivity has been dulled completely."The poll
also found 80% wanted to see a major reform of the rules of conduct regulating
how government contracts are awarded. Another finding suggests 24%
of Canadians believed the country's political system at the federal level
was either not very democratic or not at all democratic.(This
is also as many people that the Government says 'believe in gun control'
The Liberals 'live by the polls' I wonder how much attention they will
give this one? Hell, If I thought they were 'smart' enough I might even
accuse them of engineering such high levels of 'corruption expectancy'
that they now can get away with almost anything.. Makes ya feel good about
paying your taxes don't it?)
What
Happens When American F16 Pilots DON'T follow orders
Cpl. Dyer and three other Canadian soldiers
were dead and eight others were wounded after a U.S. jet apparently
mistook their tracers for hostile fire and dropped a 250-kilogram bomb
on their position. Looking back on those moments, Cpl. Kopp shakes his
head. "I think people take for granted living without fear of being
killed," he said yesterday. "I think that goes to the very reason
we're here."(If the pilot that dropped those
bombs is found guilty of disobeying orders and negligence, he should spend
a great deal of time in a suitable military prison contemplating his actions,
and the U.S. Government should compensate the families of the soldiers
killed and wounded)
Australian
courts not penalizing criminals either!
The maximum penalty in NSW for possession of a handgun was increased
from 10 to 14 years last year. But figures obtained by The Sunday Telegraph
showed gun criminals are rarely put behind bars. According to the NSW Judicial
Commission, 793 people appeared in court between 1997 and 2000 charged
with possessing illegal firearms. A mere 27 – or 3 per cent – were sent
to jail, while 445 (56 per cent) escaped with a fine. Only one person
was sent to jail in that period for using an unauthorised firearm, while
31 people got away with fines. Mr Costa said gun-running was now
more profitable than drug trafficking on the streets of Sydney. "Criminal
gangs are buying the guns for $200 each and then selling them for up to
$5000," he said.(EXACTLY the same thing is happening
in Canada. Criminals with guns, are still not getting the penalties laid
out in the firearms act. The first person to be sentenced to 'prison' will
most likely be a 'duck hunter', caught without a 'Liberal' Gun Licence)
Gun
Group Offers 'Equalizer'For Abused Women in Oregon
Calling firearms "the great equalizer," an Oregon gun group is offering
free handgun training to any woman who says she has suffered from domestic
abuse. So far, 28 battered women have signed up for the First Step
Pistol Class, which will include time on the range, learning to safely
clean, load, shoot, unload and store several types of weapons. John
McEnroe, a bartender and member of the volunteer group called the Portland
Firearms Training Team, said the classes will by taught by National Rifle
Association-certified instructors and the first class is scheduled for
May 11. McEnroe said the nonprofit group, which is composed of a dozen
instructors and does not sell firearms, decided to offer the classes after
articles in the Oregonian newspaper detailed how abusive husbands and boyfriends
circumvented restraining orders and other societal controls, obtained guns
themselves and in the past decade killed roughly 100 Oregon women. "We
thought the women should have an additional item . . . to deal with potentially
abusive partners," McEnroe said. Critics say that putting loaded guns in
the hands of abused women could cause more problems than it solves, including
injury and death.(And most likely, the "injury
and death" will be that of the abuser. Remember
all you gun control freaks! "If it saves only one life"!!
Going
to Mexico? Don't forget your armour plated car!
Local congressmen estimate that among Mexico City's 18 million inhabitants,
there are 500,000 illegal handguns, which are available on the black
market for about 1,000 pesos ($110). Rampant crime, a police force
riddled with corruption and a growing conviction that authorities were
powerless to guarantee safe streets has pushed Mexico's elites to turn
to armor-plated vehicles. (Mexican law bars civilian
ownership of any gun larger than .22-caliber, requires a permit before
purchase, mandates the registration of firearms with the Ministry of Defence,
and bans carrying weapons in public. Well, it Looks Like Strict Gun Control
Laws are working there just about as well as their working anyplace
else in the world!)
Firearms
Education = "Smart" ...Something to think about
It's not an accident that a gun is in the room or being handled,
she said. That's important because people don't take accidents seriously
or think much can be done to prevent them.Nearly 50 percent of homes in
Washington state have firearms. But we do a poor job of teaching young
people what they should do if they find or see one. When she speaks at
schools, Wieland always asks how many students' parents have talked to
them about what to do if they see a gun. Nearly no one raises a hand.
She asks how many baby-sit and hands go up all around. But when she asks
how many sitters inquire if there's a gun in the house and if it's locked
away, hands go down again. Wieland said kids get confused when someone
shows a firearm in fun or bravado.
A
pistol a month: Giveaway aims at city ban
A gun-rights group that called on supporters to attend Taste of
Chicago with handguns concealed in fanny packs is planning another controversial
promotion--giving away one handgun a month to a resident of Chicago, where
handgun possession is illegal. Concealed Carry Inc., which has the
motto "saving lives by arming citizens," is planning to start the giveaway
in May with a semiautomatic .32-caliber pistol, said John Birch, president
of Concealed Carry, based in Oak Brook. He compared the drive to
an effort to push for gun owners' civil rights.(And
in the WizzDumb of 'our' government, the very guns (.32 Cal) that are used
to save lives all over the U.S. have been deemed 'dangerous' and prohibited
by the Canadian Government.. Unless of course you have inherited the 'safety
gene' by owning one in 1998, or unless it was one of the less dangerous
one made before 1946 that you can pass down to your heirs, because they
will have inherited the 'safety gene' from you! . Makes a lot of sense
eh!)

Chemical
matching of bullets fatally flawed
The assumption that bullets found at a crime scene can be matched
to those in a suspect's possession has helped convict countless murderers,
robbers and armed felons in the US, Britain and elsewhere. Forensic scientists
analyse lead bullets for traces of antimony, tin, arsenic, copper, bismuth,
silver and cadmium. But 'New Scientist' has learned that this assumption
is plain wrong. An examination of detailed records held by manufacturers
of the lead used to make ammunition shows it is impossible to prove that
any two bullets come from the same batch. (If this
was the only evidence linking the perp to the crime, it amounts to a 'Get
Out of Jail Free' Card)
AMERICAN
HOMICIDE EXCEPTIONALISM
Don Kates and Dan Polsby have detailed, "perpetrators
of homicide are anything but ordinary people...It is...an extravagant falsification
of reality to claim, as some researchers have, that such individuals 'would
be considered law-abiding citizens prior to their pulling the trigger.'
(These
are some of the PROVEN FACTS that seem to confuse the gun control freaks.
I.E. "If nobody had guns we'd all be safer" when in reality, If nobody
had guns we'd mostly be dead.)
"Weapons
Effect Hypothesis" A Bigger Farce than the Liberal Gun Registry
Twenty-two years ago, Dr. Lester Adelson wrote
in the The Pharos, a medical-society journal: "The accessibility
of a firearm permits the instantaneous metamorphosis of a law-abiding person
into a murderer."
Adelson had perfectly articulated
what has become known as the "weapons effect" hypothesis. Whether
called the "weapons effect," the "instrumentality theory," or the
"accessibility thesis," the premise is the same: Guns provoke impulsive,
violent responses, and the presence of firearms anywhere (except
in the hands of government employees) is to be feared. The illogical fear
of firearms on airplanes is evidence that the weapons-effect hypothesis
has thoroughly permeated our culture. It would also be reasonable to expect
that, if the weapons-effect hypothesis were correct, as the number
of guns in America rises, so should firearm-related violence. However,
the last quarter-century, the per-capita supply of firearms has doubled,
while homicide and other gun crimes have declined. (This
Hypothesis, based on junk science, is the whole basis for the Liberal paranoia.
Our Local council tried to deny a citizen the right to conduct his Gunsmith
business because some of them deemed this 'type' of person to be a danger
to the neighbourhood. "Smarter" heads prevailed, and the man got his business
licence only because there were no grounds to deny him. But was basically
told "We'll be watching You". One council member even went as far as to
make the public statement "I've been by the house a number of times, 'and
I don't feel right". Personally, if this gunsmith were me, I'd be talking
to a lawyer right now, planning a lawsuit for defamation of character.)
The
"Culture of Safety" is a bigger Farce than the Liberal Government itself!
OTTAWA - Crime costs the Canadian economy as much as $46-billion
annually, but that amount is unlikely to
fall as long as police are limited in their ability to investigate
organized crime, the Auditor-General said yesterday. In her report to Parliament,
Sheila Fraser said governments only spend $10-billion a year on the
criminal justice system.(The BILLION Dollars spent
on the 'gun control farce' Could have put 1000 police officers on the job
for 20 years or more. Instead, the control of 'duck hunters' was
deemed a higher priority than YOUR safety, or Organized Crime in General)
Liberals
spent (and continue to spend) Billions without scrutiny
by shuffling money into private foundations and out of Parliament's
reach.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 2002 AUDITOR-GENERAL'S
REPORT:
*Billions in taxpayers'
dollars spent with virtually no scrutiny; shuffled to private foundations.
*Major costs like
$95-million airline industry bailout taken from fund intended for minor
expenses.
*Military recruitment
out of whack; too many cooks, not enough combat soldiers.
*Military spent
$174-million on satellite communications system in '95, then never used
it.
*Canada's
information networks at risk of cyber attack by terrorists, criminals.
*$10-billion
spent each year on criminals with little evidence it is well spent.
*Revenue Canada
is not treating taxpayers equally.
*Revenue Canada
risks losing $1-billion in owed revenue.
(The REALLY unfortunate part of all this,
is the voters will have forgotten all about the shady tactics of this government
by the time the elections roll around. One of the things I will do, is
to keep a list of stuff like this, and make sure it gets distribution
at the next election time. If EVERYONE keeps a similar list, they could
go down with thousands of little cuts made by thousands of Canadians
sick of being the laughing stock of the free world!)
The
Vershire Murder that never happened
But when the intended victim answered the door, the master
criminals were surprised. He was obviously suspicious and held a handgun
in plain view. Tulloch stammered out some lame excuse for interrupting
the man, then quickly left. Parker exited the bushes, tucked his tail between
his legs, and also fled. Because the homeowner was armed, the
Vershire murder didn't happen. But a few days later, the Dartmouth
murders did. They brutally knifed the two Dartmouth professors to death,
stealing $ 365.00 and credit cards. Why did the unidentified Vershire homeowner
survive? Because he had a gun. How many other
intended victims are never attacked because they displayed a firearm? When
criminologists James D. Wright and Peter H. Rossi interviewed convicted
felons in ten state correctional systems, they found that nearly sixty
percent stated that they would not attack citizens that they suspected
were armed. Guns save lives. (Nothing will
surprise a Canadian Criminal, more than being confronted by a Armed 'potential'
victim. The Canadian Criminal, thanks to our government, is used to getting
his way because his victims are almost never armed. Did you ever wonder
why you never hear the term "Armed Victim"? Big Men get very small
when you stick a gun in their face.. Even a 'Replica' firearm can save
lives, but why settle for a 'replica'.)
HOW
MANY REGISTERED GUNS HAVE THE SAME SERIAL NUMBER?(.pdf
file)
83,844 Combinatations (make/mod./Serial#) = 222,911
(Even though the CFC acknowledges that before
1968 many manufacturers used the same serial numbers on different models
of guns, it's interesting to point out that they don't seem to feel the
model of the gun is important (even though some reference is
'usually' stamped on the frame). Beside the entry location
'Model:' on the registration form, it says "If Known". I would think
that under the circumstances, most firearm owners may not really know the
'official' model of their firearms. So why take the chance of entering
information which at some time in the future, the Justice Department might
construe to be "False or Misleading")
HOW
CAN ANYONE BELIEVE A WORD THAT COMES OUT OF THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT?
The first evidence we got that something was going wrong was on
January 20, 2001, when the Justice Department bureaucrats started rounding
off the number of guns they had registered,” reported Breitkreuz.
“The problems became more obvious when the department stopped posting the
registration statistics on their website in April of 2001. Then on
November 22, 2001, the RCMP reported more than half a million fewer guns
registered than the Justice Department had reported on their website eight
months earlier,” he said. “Now, they report a difference of almost
700,000 registered guns between two reports issued less than two weeks
apart. How can anyone believe any reports issued by the Justice Minister’s
bureaucrats?” asked Breitkreuz. “What must police on the streets
think about this billion dollar firearms fiasco that their chiefs and union
executives negotiated with the Liberals?" (The PRIME
reason the police association changed their mind last year and decided
to back the registry, was the Justice Department said they could make it
work, and make the police officer's job safer.. Guess what? They CAN'T
make it work, and more police are being shot by criminals
then ever before! And guess what again? Duck Hunters are not shooting anybody.
Controlling criminals by directing laws at the law abiding, makes as much
sense as shooting the sheep to protect them from the wolves)
High
court's rulings curb provincial laws
Justices Claire L'Heureux-Dubé and Charles Gonthier, expected
to retire in the coming year, have been the court's strongest defenders
of federal laws. With his next appointment to the court, Jean Chrétien,
the Prime Minister, will have appointed the majority of Supreme Court judges.(Controlling
the courts by 'appointment'. How better to control the masses. Still trust
the Liberals? I didn't think so)
UN
backs Palestinian violence
UNITED NATIONS - Six European Union countries yesterday endorsed
a United Nations document that condones violence as a way to achieve Palestinian
statehood."The text contains formulations that might be interpreted as
an endorsement of violence," said Walter Lewalter,
the German ambassador to the commission. "There is no condemnation whatsoever
of terrorism." Alfred Moses, a former United States ambassador to the commission
and now chairman of UN Watch, a monitoring group, was more blunt.
"A vote in favour of this resolution is a vote for Palestinian terrorism,"
he said. "An abstention suggests ambivalence toward terror. Any country
that condones -- or is indifferent to -- the murder of Israeli civilians
in markets, on buses and in cafés has lost any moral standing to
criticize Israel's human rights record."(This
same organization wants YOU to give up your firearms. I suppose, so that
you don't shoot one of the suicide bombers they seem to be endorsing. It
seems that this sordid organization has finally lost ALL credibility, that
is, if it ever had any to start with! It will be (and should continue
to be) remembered forever as the organization that endorses suicide
bombers blowing up innocent men, women, and children to further their political
gain.)
Arguing
with the Insane
On September 15, 1999, eight Christians were slaughtered in a church
in Fort Worth, Tex. The killer, Larry Ashbrook, shouted things like, "What
you believe is bulls**t!" The media covered the story almost entirely as
a gun-control issue.Whether this was a fair criticism or not, the gun-control
issue was absurd. Ostensibly sharp folks in editorial rooms in New York,
Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., believed, for some reason, that if a
sign had been posted outside the Church saying "No guns allowed" this deranged
maniac wouldn't have killed anybody. New laws will somehow deter people
who were perfectly willing to break old laws. Perhaps the greatest example
of such a mindset was the Kellogg-Briand Pact, which "outlawed" war. "Now,
why hasn't anybody thought of outlawing war before?" (The
last thing on the mind of some punk on the way to murder another drug dealer,
is: Do I have a Licence for this stolen/smuggled gun? Is it registered?
Gee, if its not I might get arrested!!.. I have the whole solution, LETS
MAKE MURDER ILLEGAL!! oh wait a moment! I think it is.. They just better
not get caught with that gun, or they'll be in REAL trouble.. Good job
the Liberals have spent a BILLION DOLLARS to give these criminals something
to worry about )

(Gee!! Isn't it amazing that all these figures
add up to the 7 million guns the Liberals say are out there. When, in reality
the 21 million (legal) guns
(not counting soldering
guns) in the country means they have only 17,691486 Guns left to
register which means they only have to register 68,307 per day, every days
till the end of the year. Even using their own ridiculously low figures
they must register 14,286 guns per day everyday until the end of the year..
I think a lot people will just wait for amnesty #55 or 60 about 15 years
from now. Unfortunately the Liberals have made it impossible to register
your guns, if for some reason you haven't got your Liberal Licence.. The
guns may have been in your family for generations, but if you try to register
them, they will be confiscated.. Great incentive Eh! Who's going to take
the chance of losing a valuable family heirloom to a group of paranoids)
Australia:
Seeing the world wide "proven" benefits of Gun Control
Murders with a handgun jumped 300 per cent while shoot with intent
offences climbed 440 per cent between 1996 and 2001. Figures compiled by
the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research for the past three years show
murders with handguns jumped 240 per cent, shoot with intent offences climbed
80 per cent and robberies with handguns went up 25 per cent.(All
over the world, the countries that have implemented 'strict' gun control,
have seen their crime rates soar. Only an idiot would believe the answer
to a soaring crime rate generated by creating a black market, is to implement
MORE controls that will create even Larger black markets. Canada, which
has seen a 20% increase in gun crimes since the Liberals passed c-68 is
no exception. As the Black market grows, so will the crime rate. Look at
Australia, The U.K., South Africa, There have been NO documented
exceptions, ANYWHERE in the world !!)
A
Tale Of Guns And Roses
Sam Colt, once described by a friend as "a poet in wood and steel,"
helped make Hartford the wealthiest city in America. He made history with
his Colt revolver, often called the gun that won the West. He armed the
Union military to fight the Civil War. More important, he earned a global
reputation as an innovator. So, it's disheartening to hear a few local
rumblings about whether it is appropriate for Connecticut to showcase the
manufacture of firearms. (The Scourge of 'Political
Correctness' often demands that history be denied. These demands are usually
made by people hiding behind their own hypocrisy.)
Man
who registered his soldering gun will not be charged
OAK LAKE, Man. (CP) - The Manitoba man who successfully registered
his soldering gun as a firearm to protest new federal gun laws will not
be charged by police. The RCMP confirmed Saturday that Brian Buckley is
off the hook as far as they're concerned. He said he was happy he
does not have to put his family through any legal proceedings, but was
upset he did not get his day in court to protest gun laws he calls "stupid."
David
Austin (CFC Spokesperson) said. "I think that
most people were surprised by Mr. Buckley's actions and disgusted at the
waste of taxpayer's dollars. (This is the
FIRST time David Austin has been right!! Most People WERE surprised at
the incompetence of the CFC (Gun owners
have been dealing with this for years), and ARE disgusted with the
ONGOING waste of taxpayers dollars. I think Mr Buckley has WON his point.
It would seem that even the RCMP believe the gun laws in this country are
"Stupid", and as the CFC said, it up to the police to prosecute, and the
police are probably still laughing at the absurdity of the Liberal firearms
registration farce.. I'm sure they ALL feel much safer from people wielding
soldering guns which NOW, thanks to the alert folks at the CFC, Finally
have a "Firearms Identification Number(#3129514)")

there any doubt that some of these 'techniques' would be used by terroist

VANCOUVER - A former employee of accused serial

Farming Butcher Kills 54(The U.K. Sun)
A FARMER butchered up to 54 women — then minced
their bodies in a woodchipper and fed them to his pigs, shocked police
believe. Horrifyingly, many of the hogs were then slaughtered and
made into sausages. Cops say bearded misfit Robert “Willy” Pickton, 52,
began his campaign of murder almost 20 years ago.(For
YEARS the police were begged to go out and investigate this farm, to no
avail. Victims families believe the police were not really interested,
because all the missing women, were considered to be prostitutes and drug
addicts.)
Customs
edict: let criminals enter Canada
OTTAWA - Customs officers across Canada are
under orders to let people considered armed and dangerous into the country
rather than risk trying to delay or stop them at the border. Under a directive
from the director-general of the Contraband and Intelligence Services Directorate,
dated March 26, 2001, and stamped ''protected,'' customs inspectors are
to allow potentially dangerous individuals to enter Canada, then call police
and leave it to them to track down the individuals.(Customs
officers have to use the the 911 "dial-a-prayer" line, and wait for the
cops to show up!!! This is our first line of defence? Does Liberal Policy
Make YOU feel Safer? I didn't think so!!)
Canadian
Alliance vows to stall animal-cruelty bill over farm concerns
Under current animal-cruelty provisions of the Criminal Code animals
are treated as property. The new bill would define animals as vertebrates
capable of feeling pain. Convictions under the bill could result
in jail terms of up to five years, and fines with no maximum limit.
(The
basic concept of the animal cruelty portion of the bill seems all well
and good, but it addition to the grief it may cause farmers, it 'may' be
open ended enough to allow 'wacko groups' like PETA to demand a end to
Sport Fishing for example, because they are convinced "Fish
Feel Pain" and under this law, the supreme court, which has made some
pretty weird decisions in the past, might agree, or at least cost the taxpayers
millions in legal fees before throwing it out)
How
Well is Gun Control Working in South Africa?
"I was born in a cruel world, I'm living in a cruel world, and I'll
die in a cruel world. I haven't got money so what must I do? I must steal
that car to get money to support my wife and children and my brothers.
They are all looking up to me." The anti-gun lobby, led by Sheena Duncan
of the Gun Control Alliance, would like the private
possession of guns banned, saying guns are used in almost 75% of violent
crimes.(Is the possession of an illegal gun not 'banned'
now? Oh yes, I can see where 'more' laws that no one will obey is going
to make a BIG difference. The ONLY thing that will make a difference is
More Police on the Streets. Not more ineffective laws on the books!)
ERRORS
JUST KEEP PILING UP IN GUN REGISTRY
Ottawa – Today, Garry Breitkreuz, the Official Opposition’s Critic
on Firearms and Property Rights, released a follow-up to his February 28th
report titled: ERRORS, ERRORS AND MORE ERRORS. “Since I released
the first error report, more and more people are reporting horror story
after horror story,” said Breitkreuz. “As more irate firearms owners
come forward, even the media are becoming more and more diligent in reporting
their stories. This is a very encouraging development because the
public will become better informed about how useless this newest Liberal
billion-dollar boondoggle really is at improving public safety.” The evidence
that the gun registry is out of control is overwhelming. It’s like
a runaway train. The only thing we don’t know is when it’s going
to crash,” commented Breitkreuz. “By the end of this year, the Liberals
will have blown a billion dollars on this mess, and all they will have
proven is their own incompetence.”

Chrétien's
air farce
The contempt with which the federal government holds the Canadian
armed forces has been thrown into sharp relief by the decision to
buy new business jets to ferry Cabinet ministers around the world. When
the $101-million deal with Bombardier for the aircraft was announced
last month, Don Boudria, the Public Works minister, boasted that the new
jets are "the best there is." What he did not trumpet was the fact that
the cost would come out of Canada's existing military budget.(No
Doubt the new "Air Tax" will also be used to 'enhance' the liberal political
lifestyle as well.. These are definitely NOT MacKenzie King's Liberals,
and could never govern this country through a war)
Chrétien
Gets a first hand look at Ethiopian Poverty 'From his Window'
Mr. Chrétien will become the first Western leader to stay
overnight at the Sheraton Addis, the Ethiopian capital, in the luxurious
confines of Africa's best hotel -- a 72,000-square-metre compound
of Las Vegas-style extravagance that is surrounded on three sides by slums
full of beggars and corrugated tin-roofed shacks. Ethiopia ranks 158th
of 162 countries on the UN human development index -- its economy devastated
by decades of civil war and intermittent famine. The average Ethiopian,
whose annual income is about US$200, would have to work almost half
a year to afford one night's stay at the hotel. (Well,
this will give the PM the 'usual' first hand look he always seems
to enjoy. God forbid he would actually come into contact with the poor!
Perhaps when he returns he can regale us all with stories of his
'new' imagined homeless friends in Africa..

OTTAWA - The International Air Transport Association has condemned
Canada's new tax on airline tickets to cover the extra costs of aviation

highest security charge. "Canada will be the only country that seeks to

he said.(They'll blow a billion dollars protecting

will begin trading in their old guns next month for modern pistols widely
used around the world. The department will spend about $4 million over
the next three years to purchase nine-millimetre Walther weapons
manufactured in Germany. (To the largely liberal
news media, 'everything' is a 'revolver'. I wonder what will happen to
all the .357's taken out of service?)
Ontario
Liberals take on invisible Eves
TORONTO - Ontario's opposition Liberals are trying to fill the media
vacuum with stunts while Ernie Eves, the Conservative premier-designate,
forms his new administration behind closed doors.(If
the liberals win the next Ontario election, The provence will revert to
the deficit it had the last time the Liberals ran Ontario into the ground..
Ontario hunters & anglers will lose more than just the spring bear
hunt. These guys actually think that along with C-68, preventing criminals
from obtaining replica guns(which only
endanger the criminal), and instead, force them to find REAL ones, are
both good
ideas!.. And this from a leader that looks suspiciously like Norman
Bates)
Intrepid
Rangers to leave for Pole
A two-metre-long Canadian flag will begin a long journey to
the magnetic North Pole tomorrow, lashed to a snowmobile and carried by
Canadian Rangers, the mainly aboriginal Canadian Forces unit that patrols
the desolate Arctic. The patrol, which has been two years in the planning,
will both celebrate the anniversary of a unique military unit and
reinforce Canadian sovereignty at a time when it may be increasingly
challenged.(You Too can become a Canadian
Ranger, and also be issued (Un-licensed) a 303 Enfield and ammo, that
never has to be registered. You don't even have to live on a coast,
or in the Arctic. "Each Canadian Ranger
is issued with a .303 calibre Lee Enfield no.4 rifle, with 200 rounds of
ammunition each year, along with a vibrant red Ranger sweatshirt, ball
cap and a safety vest.)
Klein
opposes proposal for hunting farms
"I find it abhorrent," said Mr. Klein, who is not a hunter. "I find
it inherently unfair to the animal. I just find it inhumane to have wild
animals penned and people being allowed to shoot them."(If
this was a 50 or 100 acre penn, I would be inclined to agree with him,
but frankly, I fail to see the difference of hunting in a 1000 acre fenced
off area, then hunting in a natural 1000 acre area!.. How many hunters
cover anywhere near that much territory during a natural hunt? Maybe I'm
missing something! If you would Like to enlighten me with FACTS
either way, I would appreciate it. Click
here. (Flakes from PETA need not
respond) )
Courts
are STILL Ignoring Penalties of the Firearms Act
WINNIPEG -- The Crown and a former biker who shot a Hells Angels
member last summer have struck a deal for a reduced sentence which a
judge admits is ``totally inadequate.'' The outlaw biker was wounded in
the head in a drive-by shooting while his two-year-old son looked on from
the passenger seat. (What good is all this ridiculous
Billion dollar legislation touted as "The Culture of Safety" and pushed
through parliament by the Liberals, if the courts won't apply it to 'Criminals'.
The Government instead, continues to persecute duck hunters and other law
abiding citizens. Is there any wonder massive non compliance is rampant?
If the courts don't think it's worth enforcing, why should ANYONE comply?
)
Gopher
Lovers United..hahahahah(From Planet Ark)
"A sharing attitude might be the first thing," said Crosland,
who suggests fencing, crop rotation and relocation. She calls the gopher
derby a barbaric bloodbath, word of which will leave a stain on the province's
pastoral image.(Oh Ya..hahaha "A sharing attitude"
Perhaps THEY would like to "Relocate" and share their property with a couple
of million gophers.. Ya great Idea..hahaha "Fence" them off...hahahaha..
"Crop Rotation"??? What , grow holes one year, and dust the next?..hahahah
These people are Amazing.. You would think that if THAT much stupid
was congregated in one place, at one time, the cranial vacuum would suck
all the gophers into their tiny minds, and the problem would be over..)
Guns
can save lives
As a survivor of violent domestic abuse, I find it both unconscionable
and underhanded to exploit battered women to advance gun control. In every
case cited, there is a possibility that, had the woman been trained to
use a gun and armed, she would have survived. Every year, people in the
United States use guns for self-defense an estimated 2.5 million times.
(And
60,000+ time in Canada.. The police in my town say they can respond to
a 911 call in 7 minutes.. Does it take the whole 7 minutes to kick in a
door and kill someone? )
Blair
backs military action against Iraq
"If necessary, the action should be military and again, if necessary
and justified, it should involve regime change," Mr. Blair said to sustained
applause. "If the world makes the right choices now, at this time of destiny,
we will get there," Mr. Blair said. "And Britain will be at America's side
in doing it." arlier yesterday, Saddam Hussein was quoted during a meeting
with military officials as urging Arabs to strike at U.S. interests following
demands from the United States and Britain that he allow UN arms
inspectors into Iraq . He issued a strong message of defiance against the
United States, saying his country would confront U.S. military action with
all possible means, state-run Iraqi television said.(Civilians
should head for the section of Baghdad that has the least military presence.
The Americans have plans to divide the city in two!! Smoking, and Non-Smoking..
Chrétien on the other hand, will likely continue to argue for the
side with the dictatorship that still supply's him with Liberal voters)
Gunman
defies "Culture of Safety" and escapes in Winnipeg shootout
Police said a lone gunman wearing dark clothing and a balaclava
over his face confronted a Securicor Cash Services guard as he left the
Safeway store on Jefferson Avenue with the day's deposit around 1
p.m. Sunday. The guard had just left the store when the suspect, standing
at the northwest corner of the entranceway, screamed at him and started
firing with his shotgun. "It was so close, [the guard] heard the shot whiz
by his head," said Constable Bob Johnson, spokesman for the Winnipeg Police
Service. "The guard dropped the [deposit] bag, removed his weapon and returned
fire."(This is an amazing story.. The hell with the
money, this guard was saving his life from a criminal shotgun attack.)
"Culture
of Safety not working" Reward offered in police shooting
They call themselves the ACG, the All Crip Gang and they're
young, armed and brazen. Police now believe one of their members is the
teenager who shot Constable Tony Macias. While police are confident
they know who shot the 12-year veteran of the police force while he was
on patrol last December, they're appealing for more people to come forward
with information. As an incentive, they're offering a $50,000 reward.(Ya...
making duck hunters licence and register their guns is gonna keep guns
out of the hands of punks like these!)
"What
the f--- is taking (the police) so long?"
The same question has been asked after other shootings in
other cities: In Littleton, Colorado, where 12 students and a teacher were
gunned down at Columbine; in Atlanta, Georgia, where nine people were killed
at a brokerage firm by a disgruntled day trader; and in Montreal,
where Marc Lépine slaughtered 14 women at the Université
de Montréal. Many police forces still require officers arriving
on the scene to set up a perimeter and control the area until a tactical
unit, or Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, arrives. It can take
an hour or more for a special unit to carry out an assault, especially
when the exact nature of the threat is unknown.(And
misguided gun control laws have been plaguing law abiding gun owners ever
since. ONE armed employee at ANY of those locations could have save MANY
lives. Guns in the hands of the law abiding, SAVE far more lives every
year than are taken by all the criminal use of firearms combined.)
As
attacks spiral, gun sales soar
His decision to arm is a telling sign of an Israeli society that
feels besieged, angry, and ready for revenge after relentless suicide bombings
that have taken hundreds of civilian lives and struck deep into Israel's
psyche.Gun sales have surged in Israel, particularly since an Israeli shoe
salesman used his own weapon to fatally shoot a 46-year-old Palestinian
who had opened fire in a Tel Aviv restaurant March 5 and killed three
Israelis. The Interior Ministry says applications for licenses have tripled
during the past month, overwhelming its staff and forcing it to shift
employees from other departments to handle the deluge.(I
wonder what will happen in Canada, when the 'enemy' starts blowing themselves
up in the Eaton's Centre/Skydome/Parliament Buildings/Etc..)
Va.
law school struggles after tragic shootings
On Jan. 16, a gunman entered the fledgling law school and shot six
people, police say, among them the school's academic leader, Dean L. Anthony
Sutin, a former senior Justice Department official who had turned his back
on Washington to teach the sons and daughters of coal miners. When
the rampage was done, three people lay deadr dying, including Sutin, who
was shot in an office decorated with his 4-year-old son's artwork.
(Another
long article that fails to mention that the list of dead would be a lot
longer had two people not ran back to their cars to retrieve their guns,
and disarm this guy BEFORE wrestling him to the ground. Read "The
Missing Gun")
US
may arm National Guard on Canadian Border
About two dozen senators, including Leahy, Snowe, and Senator Susan
M. Collins, a Maine Republican, signed a letter to President Bush on March
20, saying that the restriction preventing National Guard members from
carrying weapons ''places them in grave danger unnecessarily. ''In addition
to arming the guard troops, Snowe wants to triple the number of border
agents along the northern border of the United States. ''We need to close
this northern loophole, and give the proper level of attention to our long-shared
border with Canada,'' Snowe said.(And the Canadian
Liberals, still with their heads stuck in the sand, will NOT arm our border
personal because it would seem their expendable, and not trustworthy enough
to dare arm them with dangerous guns..)
Gun
bureaucrats label MP 'Moron'
WINNIPEG -- Canadian Alliance MP Grant Hill is no moron - unless
you listen to the bureaucrats at Ottawa's firearms registry office.
Hill, an Alberta MP and firearm owner, got the shock of his life recently
when the gun registration people issued him a firearm licence. Hill's
full name is Norman Grant Hill. But his newly issued gun licence read "Moron
Grant Hill." Not only was he "Moron" according to firearms officials, he
also found
out that, much to his surprise, he no longer lives in Okotoks, south
of Calgary. Apparently he moved to Ontario and didn't even know it.
The bureaucrats in Ottawa issued him a licence with an address in
Okotoks, Ont. (History PROVES the largest collection
of MORONS in Canada are ALL bureaucrats at the Canadian Firearm
Centre.. Don't forget to register your 'soldering guns'. I think Mr. Hill
should DEMAND
a PUBLIC APOLOGY
for the incompetence so often shown at the C.F.C.)
Australia:
Huge trade in illegal handguns
"The average price is around $2000 and for that you can get a .357
Magnum blue coat or $3000 in stainless steel.
"And you can buy them in the 100s. There are that many guns
around. "It's a huge business. Since the gun laws came in handguns are
a one of the biggest assets. "Everyone wants one and there is plenty of
money to be made from selling them."(If ANY
Gun control Group in the 'Free' world can tell me where strict gun control
laws have resulted in a documented 'Lower' Number of criminal
owned guns on the street, I would sure love to see the evidence... But
I won't hold my breath waiting for it...)
S.A.:
Guns are the best defence a man can get
Given these facts, it is totally incomprehensible why government
stubbornly pushes forward with the implementation of the illconceived
and badly flawed Firearms Control Act for any reason other than to pursue
their stated 1993 goal of total civilian disarmament. Not only
will the act constitute a gross infringement on the freedom and rights
of law-abiding citizens and legal firearm owners, in particular,
but it will also as history has repeatedly shown with this type of legislation
lead to an increase in violent crime, while simultaneously opening
the door to power abuses by the state.(Knowing that
'Canadian' hoplophobes helped design the South African Gun Control Farce,
is there any reason why this article 'should not' sound awful familiar?
It would seem that 'Incompetence DOES Breed Incompetence'!)
Australian
Gangs 'still' getting guns
Firearms Trafficking Branch head Detective Superintendent Helen
Begg said she believed police were winning the battle to control the number
of illegal handguns on NSW streets. "I'm not saying no more should be done,
but I think we're working as hard as we can at the present time," Det Supt
Begg told reporters. Crime Scene Operations Superintendent Phil Slogel
said police had seized 127 handguns so far this year. More than 500 weapons,
including self-loading revolvers, were seized across NSW last year.(Harassing
the 'Law Abiding' Gun owner, has NEVER resulted in less illegal guns on
the street! But PLEASE, tell me 'where' I can get one of those "Self Loading
Revolvers".. Gad I wish the people who write this kind of crap for newspapers
would get some basic firearms training)
What
are the three basic rules of firearms safety?
Twenty-six kids in the Hallock area will be
able to answer that and a whole lot more after completing a firearms safety
course in Hallock this spring.(This is a class
that should be held in every school in North America. Just because you
might not have a gun in your home, your child may be in the homes of others
that have firearms, or may come across one that has been discarded by a
criminal. Keep em Ignorant, Keep em Safe, doesn't work any better for guns,
than it does for Sex.)
Canada
Post Shoots Down Protest Mailings by Angry Gun Owners
Those upset with the federal firearms registry are mailing their
old telephone directories to the Canadian Firearms Center in Ottawa, in
the hopes the government will have to pick up the cost of the postage.
"There is not a single firearms owner that will deal a death blow to the
Canadian firearms registry, but, mark my words, the Canadian Firearms Centre
will die the death of a thousand cuts." (Maybe
if they have all the directories, they can figure out where the 38 thousand
gun owners they have lost track of since this farce started, have went!)
And ANOTHER Culture of Safety-Sydney:
gun capital of Australia
"There is no doubt there are more guns in circulation now," Dr Weatherburn
said, in a statement that casts doubt on the effectiveness of gun laws
repeatedly described by the Government as the toughest in the nation.
Police said they had taken 5000 guns off the streets during a four-month
amnesty last year. An Australian Institute of Criminology report into homicide
released last week found that murders committed with firearms had increased
slightly across the nation over the past year. The increase comes despite
a tightening of national gun laws since the 1996 Port Arthur massacre.
(In
the face of OVERWHELMING evidence from S.A., U.K. and now Australia, that
gun control aimed at law abiding citizens has absolutely NO effect on the
criminal use of guns, will The Liberals NOW admit that wasting a BILLION
dollars to enact laws that have had NO EFFECT ANYWHERE in the FREE
world was foolhardy, and should be repealed before our crime rate equals
the other countries that have attempted this farce!)
Well
Gee!! Sorry She had to die and spoil your trip!!
Mr. Chrétien and his wife, Aline, who is also on the African
tour, will be flown by a Defence Department Challenger jet from South
Africa, either next Monday or Tuesday, to London for the Westminster Abbey
funeral. It is expected they will return to Ethiopia to resume the trip
the same day as the funeral, or early the next, officials in the Prime
Minister's Office said.(But you can be assured, that
once he has returned to Africa, cry's of "Look at the asshole on the Elephant"
will NOT be referring to any 'anatomical' part of the Actual Elephant)
As
Predicted! Animal activists attack gopher-hunting derby
"[The gopher derby] could set a precedent for more redneck
killing activities in the Canadian Prairies," she wrote in a letter,
which has been circulated worldwide. It says the contest will hurt Saskatchewan's
tourism industry by sending the impression shooting rodents is a popular
hobby.(Your damn right it's a popular hobby!!! I
know it's hard to believe, but sometimes I would rather sit on the edge
of a field and pick off gophers/groundhogs than watch one of these disneyites
trip and fall face first into a cow patty.. heh heh.. Well, maybe not..)
How
the Liberals continue to 'invest' your tax dollars MP's
annual waste report
Separate federal departments handed out a total of $2.3-million
in grants and funding for six projects and centres in Jean Chrétien's
riding
intended to boost the Prime Minister's popularity.(The
fact that they have to boost his popularity in his OWN riding, tells the
rest of Canada how much he he should be valued)
Rock
joins Kyoto pact doubters
OTTAWA - The federal Industry Minister warned yesterday that
implementing the Kyoto Protocol could damage industry and the standard
of living, even as his colleague, the Environment Minister, was warning
that storms and floods will ravage Canada if the treaty is not ratified.(And
we ALL know that anything Allan Rock says, can be taken to the bank...
But unfortunatly for taxpayers, that trip to the bank has always
resulted in a HUGE withdrawal to finance another one of his boondoggles
or stupid ideas.)
Results
of Atlantic Early Registration Incentive Program
Having travelled all over the East Coast visiting
relatives, I can attest to the fact that I never met a East Coaster that
DID NOT own a firearm. In every home, in every closet, in rural Atlantic
Canada, you will find a .22, 12 ga. or 303. Just about every house has
a gun someplace. Keeping this in mind, have a look at the ridiculously
low numbers of compliance.
Dangerous,
crippled, Vicar admits possessing a tiny handgun
A Church of England vicar has admitted keeping a miniature
silver handgun in a grandfather clock at his vicarage. The Reverend Michael
Daggett, 54, of the Church of Holy Rood, Swinton, Greater Manchester, leaded
guilty to one count of possessing an illegal firearm - a Frontier Derringer.
But he has denied possessing an illegal cartridge designed to explode on
impact. Daggett stood aided by a walking stick as he entered his pleas
at Salford Magistrates Court.(This should be interesting!
The last one charged (a young gangsta rapper ) was sentenced to 18 months
and got a beating in prison. All the U.K. handgun ban has succeeded in
doing, is to create a thriving black market, and the persecution of citizens
seeking protection that the police are unable to provide from the increasing
number of criminals. )
Guns
Save Lives
In June, a new book will be published that I urge everyone to read.
It's called "Guns Save Lives: True Stories of Americans Defending Their
Lives With Firearms." The author is Robert Waters. The publisher is Loompanics
Unlimited. (In Canada, you have to lie in order to
own a handgun for selfdefense. You have to be a 'Target Shooter'.. But
in Canada, guns STILL save more lives every year than are taken by ALL
criminal activity combined. >..Re-printed
from jounal of Criminal Justice Vol. 24 No. 5 pp 393-406)
Unarmed
U.K. Shopkeeper Quits after 100 Robberies & Lost Eye!
Abdul Sattar, 35, who was repeatedly stabbed in the eye and thigh
as he confronted two thugs stealing bottles of alcopops, vowed today to
close the business he bankrolled with his life savings because it is "too
dangerous". He said his store in Norbury, south London, had been
robbed 100 times in four years. "The police don't seem to do anything for
shopkeepers. I have had over a hundred incidents of shoplifting and have
been held up six times by armed robbers, some as young as 10. The police
take the video evidence but they are powerless to act in most cases because
they are under-age. If anyone is arrested, two hours later they are released
and they are outside my shop threatening me once again." (If
this fellow had been able to stick a gun in the face of only a couple of
these punks, word would have spread, and the robberies would have stopped.
But, under U.K. Law he would have been arrested, and spent more time in
prison than his attackers.. He WAS arrested for defending himself with
a hockey stick..This by the way, is where Canada is headed if the Liberals
get their way)
Re-registering
firearms that have been stolen.
Part of the federal Government's registration process is the re-registration
of restricted and prohibited firearms that were registered under the old
system. One of the questions that we have been asked is whether a
previously registered firearm (under the old system) that has been stolen
should be re-registered. We checked this out with the Registrar's
office in Ottawa and the answer is "yes". At least you should if you want
the stolen firearms to be returned to you should they ever be recovered.
(The
stolen firearm would be in listed on the CPIC database, and its ownership
would be clearly shown. Does this mean that by not registering firearms,
that you no longer own, they are 'forfeited to the crown" on recovery?
I wonder how many of the firearms traded to the police for Raptors tickets
in Toronto, have turned out to be stolen? I would also wonder how many
have been returned to their lawful owners? If your gun is stolen, and the
insurance company pays you, they now legally own the gun, and not you!
Do 'they' have to register it even if they are not in possession of it?
If they don't own the gun, then they don't own 'anything' that they have
reimbursed the insured owner for. If YOU have to register a gun you
no longer own, isn't THAT supplying false information akin to registering
a soldering gun? Quite frankly if someone stole one or more of my guns,
and I was paid out by the insurance company I could give a rats ass if
I got them back, they would have all been replaced by then and not my problem,
unless their were a Antique or heirloom reasons for wanting the return.

Michael
A. Bellesiles: Mega Anti-Gun-Nut
In her article, which examines Bellesiles' use of probate records,
Main says it is "nonsense" to say, as Bellesiles has, that probate inventories
"scrupulously recorded every item in an estate... including those that
had already been passed on as bequests before death." Documenting in detail
her assertions, she says: "Anyone at all familiar with inventories from
the colonial period knows that they are maddeningly inconsistent in organization
and detail." Thus, "for Bellesiles to pretend that these lists ever formed
an internally consistent body of 'scrupulously' recorded data is, to use
one of his favorite words, 'incredible.'"
(Bellesiles
book, it would seem, has been compiled of fabrications, lies, and damn
lies. AND , he received an award for this 'scholarly' effort.. I find it
amazing the the anti's "Even the C.F.C" has to fabricate 'evidence' and
distort the facts to get anything done. From falsifying RCMP Records, to
ignoring the data that proves their 'gun count' is vastly underestimated.
They plod on wasting tax dollars and quoting 'uninformed' responses to
targeted polling results)
