About Us
We are open Monday - Friday, from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.  My goal is to give your child a clean, happy, loving, learning environment.  I feel that children deserve many of the same rights as adults, so they will be treated with respect.  I will provide well-rounded meals, outside playtime, and educational experiences for the children.  My program is a mix of free play, art, phonics and verbal interaction.  We don’t follow a strict regiment of scheduled “class” time, but I grab every opportunity to turn playtime into a learning experience.  I follow the children’s signals as to what they would like to do.

In order for me to concentrate on these important goals, it is necessary to establish a set of guidelines upon which my daycare will be operated.  As I stated before, this is a home daycare, which means it is also my home.  I do expect the children to follow many of the same rules that you may even initiate at your own home.  I would hope the children and parents alike would respect my home and belongings as if they were your own.

Please feel free to have discussions with me in any area you may feel uncomfortable or may have a problem with.  It is very important for us to maintain honest and open communication concerning your child’s well-being and daily life.  It has been my experience that confronting any problems early on has helped dispel any bad feelings further down the road.  I strive to do the best job I can for you and your child.  Let’s work together to keep your child happy in the type of environment which we both desire for him or her.


ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

All necessary forms must be completed and returned to me before I will assume the responsibility for your child.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!  Please inform me immediately of any changes.  Listed below you will find the list of forms that you need to return to "Little Froggy Childcare" before or on your child's 1st day.

RATES

I am only allowed six daycare children at any one time in my home.  Therefore, weekly payments are not based on a child’s attendance, but rather on the position held for your child.  You will be charged whether or not your child is present.  Full time is considered 4-5 days a week.  There will be an additional $10/day for school age children during teacher conferences and school holidays when the child is not in school and in daycare for full day.  If the child is not in daycare during school breaks; payment of $60/week will still be required to hold the spot for your child.

Normal rates are as follows:

Full time - $100.00 per week (4-5 days/week)
Full time - $125.00 (12 months & under 4-5 days/week)
Part Time – $75.00 per week (2-3 days/week)
Before & After School - $60 per week
Drop In - $4.50 per hour

I require payments to be made in advance on Friday prior to each work week.  Payments not received on Friday by the close of business are subject to a late fee of $10.00 per day, this includes weekends.  All children will be picked up by 12:00 pm on early days or 5:30 pm on regular days or will be charged a fee of $10 plus the overtime rate.  The over-time rate will be $1 per minute for each child. This may seem extreme, but it is an incentive for you to be on-time so that I may make the little time I have with my family quality time.

Late Drop-off does not constitute late pick-up.  You know when you are late, so do not ask if late fees are due, just add them on to your payment.

You may pay by cash or check.  A $25.00 fee will be assessed for returned checks.  In addition, you will also be responsible for reimbursing me for any other charges that are assessed on my account due to non-payment of your check.  Two returned checks will result in your account being placed on a “Cash Only” basis.


VACATIONS AND PAID HOLIDAYS

Childcare will not be provided on federal holidays.  You will still be required to pay for these days even though services will not be provided.  The rate will be regular for that day.  The following is a list of days off that are paid holidays.

• New Year’s Day
• President’s Day
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Memorial Day
• Fourth Of July
• Labor Day
• Columbus Day
• Thanksgiving and the Friday after
• Christmas Day and the day after
• The day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve will be early pick up days and the daycare will be closing at 12:00 pm.

The Childcare Provider is entitled to three weeks vacation which the parents are not responsible for payment.  At least two weeks notice will be given of any vacation time. On some occasions, I may need to take unpaid personal/sick days, limited to 5 per year. On these days I will prorate our daily rate effective the next pay period.  Please remember that back up care is a must. You are urged to have at least two other providers to call in the case of an emergency.

The full weekly rate will be charged for your vacation. This is to hold your child’s spot in the daycare.
