MEALS
I am enrolled in the Federal Meal Program and to meet the nutritional needs of your child, I serve well balanced meals and snacks. Breakfast is served at 8:30 am. Please arrive by that time if you want your child to eat breakfast here. If your child arrives after this time I will expect them to have eaten at home. Lunch is served around 11:45 am and I serve a pm snack around 3:00pm. I believe that mealtime should be a pleasant time therefore children are always offered all the food group items but are not forced to eat it. Children who choose not to eat will not be able to eat until the next meal or snack time.
NAPTIME
All children are to lie down for a rest period in the afternoon. Even older children will benefit from a period of "Quiet Time". Naptime is my only opportunity to take a break, clean up after lunch, do paperwork, and do daily planning. I provide mats. You need to provide a blanket and little pillow and a comfort item if needed. I would like to ask that you please avoid picking up your child during naptime, as it disturbs the other children. If you must pick up during nap time please let me know at drop off or call before you leave work. Also, please try to hold your calls during this time. Nap time is from 1:00 pm to around 3:00 pm.

ILLNESS
The health and well being of all of the children here is the utmost importance to me. It is for the protection of the children that I must insist on a strict adherence to my Health Policy. Due to my concern for all of the children enrolled in my child care there are certain guidelines that I require all my clients to observe. If a child becomes ill while in my care, the parents will be notified and are required to pick up their child immediately.
