We present some of these instruments that are part of
the cultural and ancestral richness of the Peruvian people. These are used
by the band "The Last Incas" in their concerts and in the recording of
their first CD.

QUENA CHINCHA: (wooden flutes) |
Comtemporary to Chimu and Chancay cultures Dates from 1000-1450 a.d. There are 4 sizes of quenas. |
| TROMPETA MOCHE:

According to experts, the Moche trumpet dates from the time of Christ until 600-700 a.d. | CHIMU SILBADOR:
(ceramic whistle) |
Whistles come from the Vicus culture around 200 b.c. and are seen as late as the Chimu culture from 100a.d.-1450 a.d. |

Date from 100a.d. - 600a.d. These were discovered by Max Uhle in the Lurín Valley. | OCARINAS:

The oldest were found in Kotosh, 2500b.c. and were ceramic. Others found in Cupisnique date from around 800b.c. Thirty-two bone ocarinas were found in Coral-Supe that date around 2500 b.c.- 3000 b.c. The latter were made from bird skeletons. |

Date from 200 b.c. Their form is that of an hour glass. | PUTUTO:(Conch Shell, horn) | The conch shell was used as a trumpet by ancient Peruvians. The date from the first ancient Peruvian cultures that developed through the times of the Incas. |
