Markahm, our resident music man, brings you his picks and pans of the month.  Good will be listed in red, bad in yellow.

MDFMK "MDFMK"
Like many, I was disappointed when I heard that kmfdm split up.  But the phoenix rose from the ashes, as they say, with some old members and some new.  Their debut album is amazing, with raging tracks like Now and smooth grooves such as Get Out of My Head, and Torpedoes is one of their best ever.  Run, don't walk, to the nearest shop and pick it up.  If you don't like it, then find a hole to crawl in because you're dead.

Slipknot "Slipknot"
Quite possibly one of the worst albums it has ever been my misfortune to hear.  The only bright point of the album is some ranting of an insane child.  It sounds promising at times but the end result is something resembling a cat being run over by a lawnmower with a rhythm section.  And what bothers me the most is these nits are so unbelievably popular...
