Greetings to poetry lovers!
Manila Review features three poets - Rewa Marie Fyles from Texas is the Poet of the Month of April , Alan Catlin, poet from New York is the Poet of the Month of May, Mark Stellinga, poet from Iowa is Poet of the Month of June.
Eight poets contributed to our Poetry section- Jerry W. Bradford, Randy L. Redmond, Rewa Marie Fyles, Katie Davis-Steward, JIll A. Terry, Mark Stellinga, Alan Catlin and Vim Nadera.
Two book reviews are posted in the Book Review Section. The poetrybook of Jill Terry, Shadows of My Soul and the poetrybook of Jerry W. Bradford, Voices of The Heart, are reviewed.
Thirteen poem reviews are posted in the Poem Review Section.
Manila Review is a quarterly online magazine: Winter (Jan Feb Mar), Spring (Apr May Jun), Summer (Jul Aug Sep), Autumn (Oct Nov Dec).
Manila Review will be launching two Poetry Awards by next season - Spring Season namely Manila Prize for Poetry and Angus Prize for Poetry .
Manila Prize 2005 for Poetry is for poets who have published their first full-length poetry book between 2001 to 2004. The Angus Prize 2005 for Poetry is for poets who published at least three full-length poetry and made important contributions to the field of poetry.
