Joseph Estrada is Manila Review's Filipino artist of the year 2004. Susan Roces is Manila Review's Filipina artist of the year.

Manila Review will be launching two Poetry Awards by next season - Spring Season namely Manila Prize for Poetry and Angus Prize for Poetry .
Manila Prize 2005 for Poetry is for poets who have published their first full-length poetry book between 2001 to 2005. The Angus Prize 2005 for Poetry is for poets who published at least three full-length poetry and made important contributions to the field of poetry.
