4 Seasons

Autumn sheds her brilliant beauty,
Painting pictures on the ground.
Twirling leaves of gold, and crimson,
brush the lawn without a sound.

Sketching scenes with cooler mornings,
Winter now is ling'ring near.
Scenes which soon will conquer Autumn,
ending thus, another year.

Snow, but flakes, will soon drift lightly,
turning white the frigid land.
Trees, that stand like frozen corpses,
look as dead at Winters' hand.

Yet, the hard, cold snow will soften,
trees their buds will quickly gain.
Flowery flames will melt the meadonws,
No reminders will remain.

Showers then will sprinkle gently,
leaves again, with Spring, return.
Bleak and lifeless limbs no longer,
Summers' sun again will burn,

Kindling fires of gold and crimson,
stretching brightly, east to west.
Blazing leaves again for Autumn,
Beauty reigns with her success.....

Autumn

Season of bonfires kindling leaves
Leaves freshly fallen from skeleton trees

Leaves that were young once, but now have
grown old,
and soon will be buried beneath frigid snow

The season of sadness that comes once a year
to shove away summer, and summon a tear.

In the eye oif a flower confronted with death
Oh, cursed be thee, Autumn, 'till my dying breath!
