Man of the True God

God
, Family, Computers, and Art.

That sums up my life. And it is also in that order of importance that they come in my life, although my lovely wife might dispute the consistency from time to time.
She often harasses me when I get to hold my Digital HiNote far longer than the time I spend holding her in my arms.

Computers came as a career veer in my life. My first love is the fine arts. I spent my college library hours browsing on the dramatic life stories of men like Van Gogh, Gaugin, Monet.

I dreamt of practicing Industrial design but there was really no serious school in Manila. I left M.I.T. (that is
Mapua Institute of Technology) for a computer science course in nearby government university (Pamantasan ng Lunsod ng Maynila).

Meanwhile, I spent my prime years serving God full time as an evangelizer, helping people acquire meaning in their life, acquiring hope from the despair of this current system, and liberating themselves from superstition and traditions that have become meaningless in the modern world.

It was at this point in time, I was introduced into computers where it took me an hour to finish two paragraphs of this sort encoding in a computer screen. From there, my adventure took me to the Internet when it wasn't yet called the Web, when I had to rely on a VT100 to get copies of files, and receive emails from list servers. I have used since a web pseudoname of 'ManofGod' which I have now rechristened as 'ManofTrueGod'. How time flies!

Back in 2002! I just went through the second merger in my work life. This site was put up during the first merger of Compaq Computers and Digital Equipment Corporation back in 1998. And now, here comes Hewlett Packard merging with Compaq Computers! And so far, I've got a job...

Back in 2004, I have discovered love for travelling. In just the last two years, I was able to travel to Subic (stay in a hotel courtesy of friends); to Mangaldan, Pangasinan (courtesy of a relative); to Baguio (courtesy of friends); to Baler, Aurora (courtesy of friends), and in Angeles and Clark- all North of Manila. Then, I was able to travel to the beaches of Batangas- Nasugbu and San Juan, all South of Manila.

In 2005, I opened a blog site in blogspot.com and in friendster.com. I have revived writing poetries using those blog sites.
