About the Director

Ms. Daddona has been teaching dance for the past decade. She continues to remain a faculty member at the Mercer County Community College, and at the Mercer County Performing Arts High School.

Cheryl began her dance training at the Stewart-Johnson Dance Academy in Hamilton, NJ. While at the Stewart-Johnson Dance Academy, she was a member of the senior company, and competition team. During high school, Cheryl began to study at the Princeton Ballet School. While at the Princeton Ballet School, Cheryl was a member of PBII, a pre-professional ballet company. She performed in "The Nutcracker" at McCarter Theatre, as well as spring concerts. Cheryl was also a student of Julie Caprio at Ballet Technique in Hamilton, NJ. During her junior year in high school, she was selected to study dance at the Governor's School of the Arts.

In 1995, Ms. Daddona graduated from the highly acclaimed Butler University, in Indianapolis, IN., with a B.A. in Dance, pedagogy concentration. While at Butler, she performed in numerous productions, such as: "The Nutcracker", "Sleeping Beauty", "Cinderella", "Alexander Nevsky", "The Messiah", "The Rite of Spring", and many others.

Ms. Daddona's other teaching credits include: The Princeton Ballet School, Pennington Dance, More than Dance, Miss Nina's Dance Cues, and Montgomery Dance Arts. Ms. Daddona was the choreographer for Bordentown Regional's productions of "West Side Story", "Guys and Dolls", and "The Music Man". She has also performed and choreographed for Mercer Dance Ensemble, and was a featured artist in "Bach, to Big Band and Everything in Between" as presented by The Company of Music, Theatre, and Dance in Jackson, NJ.
