| Wednesday 20/09/06 Got in at 3am last night after being to see Robbie Williams live in Milton Keynes. Fantastic show, and incredible support acts (Basement Jaxx sounded AMAZING live) ... but woke up today and found I had lost my voice! Hopefully it'll come back in time for next Friday's gig.- M |
| Sunday 17/09/06 Wow, great gig last night @ Dusk bar in York centre. Lovely bunch of people; but did you have to request 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' TWICE?! I'm only a tenor you know!! Most of all, thanks for introducing me to the Goo Goo Dolls, and 'Iris'; such a beautiful song. | Friday 08/09/06 Smith & Nephew's 150th Birthday party! Successful first outting with my Tyros 2 - phew, I've been practising all week trying to get to grips with it! Sounded great when hooked up to my PA and turned up LOUD! HUGE thanks to Caroline, Barbara, Sarah and the rest of the team for making me feel so welcome! Hope you guys enjoyed my music. | Saturday 02/09/06 Hi - welcome to my blog! Hope you all like the new site...? Finally got round to trading in my PSR 8000 today - a long drive up to Whitley Bay, but well worth it. Returned home with my new keyboard - the Tyros 2 (see the pic on my 'Profile' page). WOW is all I can say! Can't wait to perform with this thing- it's incredible. - M |
| Wednesday 17/01/07 Happy New Year! I'm back from my skiing holiday and have finally updated the site again. First of all, a big thank you to all who attended the Christmas Party nights and New Year's Eve; hopefully see you all again next year! Someone kindly sent me some video clips taken on the 13th December, which I will be uploading to a new page on my site later this week...watch this space! | Monday 07/05/07 Just a quick note to say that my new demo CD is on the way! Unlike my previous demo this is entirely home-made, using a little bit of computer trickery and a lot of cables! The big plus side is that I've been able to take my time to get things just right, and have also been able to experiment along the way. I'm very interested to see what people make of my version of Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy'! If anyone would like a copy please email me. |
| Thursday 26/06/07 Thanks to all those who have requested a copy of my new CD; rest assured they'll be on their way soon...had a bit of a disaster with my PC which meant I lost a lot of my original recording. Not to worry though, I've almost finished re-recording most of my new demo tracks and they're bigger, better and louder! On the gig front, there's lots happening in July with York Race meetings, weddings and various outdoor events. Am especially looking forward to performing at Sutton Park later in July! Let's hope all this rain has stopped by then eh?! New videos are also on the way!! |
