Princess Irene, the second daughter of princess Juliana and prince Bernard (born 5 august 1939)
does not use her "princess" title anymore. She is now mostly called "Irene of Lippe Biesterfeld".
On 9 februari 19964 she engaged prince Carl Hugo de Bourbon de Parme.
The couple married on 29 april 1964 in the basilique Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome and divorced in 1980.

On 20 januari 1997, his girlfriend since his youth Brigitte Klynstra,
got a son named Carlos Hugo Roderik Sybren. Allthough Carlos is his father,
he never officially acknowlegde the child.
The couple will never marry, but Carlos visits his son every now and then,
so does his mother, the grandmother of Carlos jr, princess Irene.

Little twins
Jaime works in Sao Paolo in Brazil, at the local office of the Abn-Amro.
He is the favourite grandson of prince Bernhard,
and comes over every time when things get serious with the prince.

It is said that Carolina should be perfect to marry Felipe, the crownprince of Spain.
Allthough other rumors deny that, we wait until Felipe or Carolina is married to someone else.
Carolina lives in New York, where she works for the "Organsation for the coordination of
Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). She was one of the bridesmaids at the wedding
of Constantijn and Laurentien.
