Welcome to The official web site of the Maroa Sesquicentennial celebration. There will be a variety of events celebrating the 1854 founding of the town what will climax September 17, 18, 19, 2004 on the streets of Maroa.
For those who realize this is a once in a lifetime chance to celebrate our community, this is your chance to be involved.
Our organizational meetings are at 7:00 p.m. (CST) at the Maroa Public Library at 305 East Garfield in Maroa. Everyone is invited to help.
The meetings are usually the last Wednesday of the month. So the schedule would be:
