The Upper Fryatt Valley and its many glaciers with the sun trying to appear.  I and some young folks are heading up to the end of this valley.
The unnamed lake at the west end of the Upper Fryatt Valley. Even in gray weather it is another of those breathtaking views.
I have a wonderful time in the Upper Fryatt Valley and can see returning for lots of exploration of the valley. And using the Alpine Hut is an attractive idea, especially in the company of a lively female hiking partner. In the late afternoon I hike down the headwall, around Fryatt Lake and back to Brussels Campground

This is looking back from the rock pile.  That is Fryatt Lake with the headwall and upper valley visible above and to the right of the lake.
The trail around Fryatt Lake provides many opportunities to stop, gaze and be touched by the beauty of the place.  I came back to walk around the lake again and take pictures.  I stayed an extra day at Brussels to do this.  It is worth it.
