Webquest Immigration Project: XmyjagX group This is a webquest on different immigration groups to America. It tells a different narrative each from how each group strived to succeed in life and how each group challenged the impoosible to depend on each other and become successful following the paths of once known and always known people that came and found what life was all about. Dust Bowl Website [group] This is a site called the 'daily squatters.' This is an online newspaper containing the groups articles on the Dust Bowl. This is a project which needed to include what caused the dust, the cause and effect of the dust, who is hugh bennett, survival [I think], government relief and the new deal, prevention for the future, maps, and a timeline. Story of the Dust Bowl Migration This is a site I created using pictures that show a narrative about the Okies, when the Dust Bowl began, when they were on the road heading towards California, and what lief was like in Calfornia. Jacob Lawrence Essay This is an essay where I talk about how Jacob Lawrence and his paintings were integral to the Great Migration North by the Blacks. I included a couple of his paintings to back up my points on how he used his paintings as a social commentary and a narrative. I also proved how he showed struggle, strength, and perservence through his paintings between 1900 and 1940 during the industrial eras. Social Commentary Webquest This is an essay, where i have use primary documents [CD covers] as well as lyrics from the different artists who have songs that you can disagree with.
