Starting a new game

Selecting - File > New game opens up the New Game window...

  1. This is how you choose the number of players in the game. Selecting a number of players will gray out the other name boxes (2), and remove the color buttons (3) and friction options (5) for each other player.

  2. This is where you enter your name which will be displayed during the game, in the game status window, and the name that will be shown if you put your score into the online database.

  3. This button displays the current piece color for the player. When clicked, it brings up the color selector window (see below) to allow the player to choose their color.

  4. Pushing this button down turns on the friction changes for the game. A box (5) appears for each player currently in the game.

  5. This is how you select how much friction each piece has. Friction effects how much a piece moves with a certain amount a force is applied to it. The 5 buttons correspond to (from left to right): very low friction (moves most), low friction, normal friction, high friction, and very high friction (moves least).

  6. Pressing this, starts the game. (duh)

  1. This displays which piece's color is currently being selected .

  2. This marks the position of the currently selected color. (4)

  3. Moving the mouse on the color box brings up a circular mouse cursor. When the mouse is clicked, the marker (2) moves to the center of the cursor, and the selected color is shown on the selected color box (4).

  4. This box displays the currently selected color from the color box. (3). It is the color at the center of the marker (2).

  5. Clicking this sets the color in the selected color box (4) to the piece displayed as the window title (1)
