My thoughts are that this story could either go on forever, or finish here.  I know I am going to disappoint many by not continuing through ‘the weekend’ and indeed into the future beyond.  With this story, that was never my intention.  My ‘mission’ was to show how a relationship might come into being.  I hope I have done that.  I hope you will dream about what it might be like.  I hope it will strengthen your resolve to investigate, if that is what you desire.  Who knows?  Perhaps one day I will revisit our protagonists.  Maybe one day it will appeal to me to provide you with the answers.  But for now, this story is done and dusted.  That’s not to say I leave gratefully.  I’ve enjoyed following Elaine and Gary on the part of their journey that I wanted to highlight for you.
