The mystery of the Kennedy assassination will haunt us for decades to come. Although mounds of evidence has recently presented itself, and theorists believe they are only moments away from knowing the truth, there is no way to be certain we will ever know all of the truth about this tragic day in history. Who was Oswald, and why would his associate, Jack Ruby, kill him? What was Ruby's affiliation with the assassination? Ruby was an informant for the CIA with deep ties to "Project Mongoose" in Miami Florida, the CIA's program to re-try the Bay of Pigs. Oswald was linked to that organization as well. This then links the CIA to the assassination. Oswald also spent a good deal of time in the Soviet Union. He had defected from the United States during the 1950's, and many believe he was contracted by the Kremlin to assassinate the President, or perhaps lead a group of hitmen to handle it. Also, what about the supposed mob-ties the Kennedy had made when using the Italian mafia to help win the election? There are a number of people who could have influenced the event to take place. Fidel Castro, Nikita Khrushchev, any of dozens of directors in the FBI and CIA, Lyndon Johnson himself... the list goes on and on. Will we ever know who really killed the President? What purpose it served and for whom? Perhaps, but until then, we can only speculate, wonder, and mourn the loss of a great President.

I did my very best to make this a non-biased article that does not support any single theory, but I admit it leans heavily in favor of Oswald being only a bit player in the assassination.
