THE BAND

The Mary Beth Anthony Band broke onto the Southern California Country Music scene with a very loud bang in late 2003.  After initial performances at Viva Cantina in Burbank and Swallows Inn in San Juan Capistrano, they quickly became local favorites.  In addition to filling a busy schedule of private parties, they have played at In Cahoots in Fullerton, Cowboy Country in Long Beach, The Hideaway in Lake View Terrace, The Renegade in El Cajon, The Starting Gate in Los Alamitos, Cowboy Palace Saloon in Chatsworth and many more. The gorgeous Mary Beth leads the band with her beautiful vocals and magnetic stage presence.  Her band of long-time professionals fill out the group's unique sound on a long list of toe-tappin' favorites and soulful ballads. Lead Guitarist Mark Miller played with the band Savannah Jack, the opening act for Ricky Van Shelton and Pearl River. World-class Fiddler Kenny Klein has played with Country bands in almost every state, Celtic bands in Europe, and he's won fiddling championships in New York and Kansas. Bassist and Musical Director Dan Hughhart has been a mainstay on the L.A. music Scene for over 30 years and has backed Ted Nugent and Michael Sembello. Drummer Shawn Nourse is a veteran of the L.A. music circuit and has played with Dwight Yoakum! Kurt "Freeze" plays the keys like Jerry Lee!  His wonderful vocals will knock you over too... The tap is flowin'. The dance floor's full. The MBA Band is in the house!
