The Africa Group
A subcommittee of OMAF members is particularly interested in healthcare in Africa. The group is currently organising electives in Tanzania and Kenya. Check out their website for a list of physicians and health care facilities in several countries in Africa and also for more information on organising electives in general.

Kolofata Hospital in Rural Cameroon
The hospital is a primary care establishment run by Ellen Einterz, MD (McGill) MPH (Tulane). One or more McGill medical students have spent an elective there every year for the last 4 years. We hope to maintain this contact in the future.
