Nail Care
When preparing mixtures and using fresh ingredients. Always cut in the fresh fruits and vegetables etc last...the enzymes will remain as fresh as possible.
Storage Try and use dark glass jars and bottles for storage. You need to avoid too much sunlight and oxygen getting to your mixtures. Most of these recipes contain natural preservatives. Keep mixtures in a cool place. The refrigerator is preferable. Refrigerate the mixtures containing fruit and or vegetables.
Natural preservatives:
Acids: Lemon juice and vinegar. Alcohol: Vodka, witch hazel and brandy. Essential Oils: Tea Tree, eucalyptus oil and thyme.

Herbaceous Cuticle Conditioning Oil
Combine ingredients. Shake well before each use. Rub into nail and toenail cuticles following bath or shower; while these oil helps prevent fungus, the strong scent may be best to use at night. Store unused portion in tightly sealed (preferably glass) container in a cool, dark, dry place for 6-12 months.
Hard-as-Nails Manicure Treat
Mix above in a low-profile bowl. Soak nails for 10-15 minutes, occasionally massaging cuticles gently. Rinse with cool water. Discard unused portion. Smoothing Cuticle & Foot Scrub
Combine ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Rub gently onto damp skin (apply to dry skin cautiously for an invigorating treatment) in circular motions. Rinse well or smooth off in bath. Store unused portion in tightly sealed (preferably glass) container in a cool, dark, dry place for up to 7 days.
