Prayer

As illusional fire burst from the sky,
In shades of orange and red.
I think of the days which have passed me by,
And the life that have I led.

There are a few things that I regret,
Like pains and hurts and lies.
And I wish sometimes that I could reset,
Or reverse the flow of tides.

Since this is not something that we can sway,
Or undo the knotted thread.
Then knowledge and wisdom is what I'll pray,
To have sent to me instead.

I'll face each day the way dawn greets me,
Renewed, revived and strong.
With knowledge and wisdom to set me free,
Away from the path of wrong.

No longer will I regret the past,
The lies, the hurts, the pains.
For those memories will lead me fast,
To a life of hard earned gains.
Wedding Day

As sunlight caresses the dewy lawn,
and birds flit across a sky -
strewn with clouds tinged with dawn,
I softly think of you and sigh...

For before this day is past and gone,
it will be made complete by this -
two hearts that shall be joined as one,
and a lifetime begun with a kiss...

Verses From The Heart
Depressing

Such talk of suicide and razor blades.
Is there not any one who cares to write about liquid sunshine,
Lustful gazes,
Sweet embraces,
Or anything else,
Other than the crimson flow of life's energy,
And wanting to be drained of it?

Ie: If today I could kiss the sky,
And move the clouds with one soft breath,
I would be no more happier,
Than I am now, in your arms.
Francesco Hayez - Bacio
Division

Your smile is full of sunshine,
The kind that drags my blues away.
A rainbow of liquid briliance,
Is what I see within your gaze.

Come to me my loving one,
Hold me to your breast and quietly weep.
For tomorrow is the day we part.
And dawn will soon be breaking.

Chance that we met so late in life,
Luck that we had some glorious days.
Fate would make us hurry love,
Sorrow that it will soon be lost.

Do not fear the coming breath,
The shadows of this final, lenghtly sleep.
We will hold hands until the last,
Together we will jump the breech.

Oh how the angels will glorify,
When they catch you in their wings of down.
For never before has such beauty graced,
Heaven and left Earth so bereaved.
