Hotel
Renovations are 6 months behind schedule. Rooms are being painted and some airconditioners replaced (or just painted)
Ground floor rooms at the front of the hotel on the right are being made into villas with their own courtyard. Work in progress at the moment
On first sight looks like a really large hotel but is ok once you learn your way around.
Rooms located basically on the right and left as you enter the hotel.
Rooms on the right receive the afternoon sun and overlook ponds and the road.
Some rooms located on the left also overlook the road but most overlook the gardens, restaurant, games room etc. These are closer to the pool . No rooms directly overlook the pool.
2 standards of room (as listed on the website). Some have an in-room safe and tea/coffee facilities. Others do not.
Rooms in 3 storey and 4 storey blocks.

Internet facilities at hotel . 300rp per min
Paths meander through the extensive gardens and ponds.

Enclosed glassed-in games room located above the restaurant.
Has a bar area, TV, tables, sofas, dart board and 2 full sized pool tables.
Australian football was being watched here and a 'free hot dog night' was on offer while one of the finals was screened.
Good place to meet friends if you don't wish to entertain in your room and good for teenagers.

Staff very friendly and service prompt.

Pool
Located toward the rear and left of the property close to the beach.
Hotel also has a spa hut located near the pool.
Massage 90000rp for one hour.
Pool towels are issued at reception after paying a 50000rp deposit. This is returned at the end of your stay. Clean towels obtained from reception using your pool tag.
There would be a shortage of sun lounges when the hotel is fairly full. Not all lounges have cushions (or not enough to go around).

Pizzeria located to the rear of the pool on a sand area just before the beach. Tables and chairs in the sand and pizza reasonably priced.
Some sun lounges in this area.

Breakfast
Included in the package price.
Excellent juices and breakfast.
Buffet type with choice of eggs, bacon [though kept in a bowl on the side after being cooked and therefore sometimes cold],toast,vegemite, jams,nasi goreng [with some chili] noodles,tomatoes,potatoes in garlic,danishes, croissants,fruit,sliced cheese and tomato [for cheese on toast].
One person cooking the eggs at the buffet. Very little time to wait for order if not busy. If busy (as it was the last week) can wait up to 15 mins.
Some dishes lukewarm at times as lids not replaced on warmers or warmers not heated enough?
There is an enclosed airconditioned (glassed) restaurant area as well as the outside decked area.

Room
No deluxe doubles (as listed on voucher) were available on arrival
Was allocated room 401 on top floor at the end overlooking the road.
Not in a good position and is a standard room.
Took a deluxe twin that was available. Room 375
Old airconditioner (painted) but worked well.
Plumbing good.
Shower hose too short so could not shower properly.
Was replaced promptly when mentioned.
Some days towels white other days older and greyer but still clean.
2 bottles of water provided daily.
New TV with larger screen. Satellite TV. 33 channels. 3 movie channels.
No mould in the bathroom. Rooms cleaned and swept daily. Bathroom cleaned daily.
Bath not cleaned daily.
Extra pillows available on request.
Some noise heard between rooms (especially if you have rooms above).
Can see glimpses of the beach and ocean through the palm trees, from the balcony and the construction work next door on the new shopping complex.
This room overlooks the restaurant area and can see the games room.

The 3 bedroom villa is located on the right hand side of the property with a kiddies playground located nearby.

Good location on Jln Kartika Plaza. Many teenage children there with their boards, utilising the benefit of being located at a hotel on the beach.
Had other meals at Daddy's, Benny's, Karthi, Melasti Bungalows which are located close by.
