Drawing
Minnie Standing (Entire Body)
Welcome
to another lesson in drawing Minnie Mouse. If you haven't
learned to draw Minnie's head in a 3/4 perspective, please
do so. You will have a much harder time doing this without
learning that lesson.
Minnie's
body is a lot more expressive than Mickey's. She wears a dress
and since Minnie has a very feminine feel, you just can't
draw her the same has as Mickey.
You will
need pencils and some scrap paper (Graph paper recommended).
Pencils will erase the lines that are unnecessary when the
drawing is finished. Colored pencils, crayons and other means
of coloring are optional. You could color your drawing with
a pencil.
Step
5

To
me, getting Minnie's gloves is one of the hardest things to
draw. Make sure that there are four NOT five fingers
to each hand. Remember, Minnie is a 'toon and they don't follow
the rules of the real world. Be expressive! (If you've noticed,
Minnie's hands are like that a LOT in the parks!)
Step
6

This
is the toughest part of drawing Minnie's body. The dress represents
her a lot and its important to keep her dress a little "fluffy".Her
arms at the top in blue are expressive too. All of this gives
her that "cute as a button look" we all know and
love!
Step
7

Her
feet are touching together as mentioned before. They are also
oversized too. We are talking about large high heels here!
Her tail should also curl a bit as demonstrated above. We
don't want a straight tail since it is lifeless and dull.
Step
8

Erase
all the unnecessary lines and were done! It was tougher, but
we made Minnie come to life!
