Questions, Questions, Questions. I'm going to try to address some common questions about Minnie. If there is no questions that are not on this page, its a good ideal to e-mail me about. Keep in mind, I in no way work for the Walt Disney Corporation nor have total knowledge of Minnie. I'm a fan like you and me. Lets ask away?

Q: Why do YOU like Minnie Mouse?
I thought you might ask. For some odd reason, I do kinda feel a bit attracted to her...but not in a nasty way. When I visited Walt Disney World back in August of 1999, she was the first character that I encountered...the rest is history. If you want know a bit more, please read my personal memoir.

Q: How long has has Minnie Mouse been around?

A: Minnie, like Mickey has been around for a LOONG time. The couple premiered in their first cartoon short or November 14, 1928 in New York City. The title, "Steamboat Willie". This was actually not really the first Mickey and Minnie short. "Plane Crazy" was the first one produced, but actually the third short released.

Q: Are Mickey and Minnie Married?

A: A lot of people wonder about this one. You may have seen wedding merchandise of Mickey and Minnie, but do you really think Minnie has a ring? Come on, those gloves are really thick ya know! Seriously, about the marriage issue, Walt Disney himself said "In private life, Mickey is married to Minnie. A lot of people have written to him asking this question, because sometimes he appears to be married to her in his films and other times still courting her. What it really amounts to is that Minnie is, for screen purposes, his leading lady. If the story calls for a romantic courtship, then Minnie is the girl; but when the story requires a married couple, then they appear as man and wife. In the studio we have decided that they are married, really."

Personally, I don't believe they are. How many married couples do you see living happily ever after in separate houses? Go to ToonTown in any "Kingdom" park and they both live single!

Speaking of "married", it is well known that both the voice of Minnie (Russi Taylor) and Mickey (Wayne Allwine) are married in real life. This is no joke! They are seriously married!

Q: Who is the voice of Minnie Mouse?

A:Four women had held the role of the voice of Minnie. Russi Taylor is the current voice of Minnie. Ruth Clifford, Marcellite Garner and Thelma Boardman have voiced her in the past.

Q: How many shorts have Minnie Mouse starred in?

A: Not counting her current role in "House of Mouse", she has appeared in 70 different shorts. All of them were supporting roles. In the former "Mickey MouseWorks", she had some starring roles for once. (!)

Q: What is "Minnie's Moonlit Madness"?

A: "Minnie's Moonlit Madness" is a Cast Member-only Trivia and scavenger hunt done at Disneyland after dark during May. I don't know much about it (I'm not a Cast Member), but I heard people from all over the company, including ABC compete as teams.
