Minnie at the Parks
Have
a Photo with Minnie? I wanna see it!

Minnie
Cuddles up with a friend.
The
theme parks in the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World
Resort are cool enough, but what is the ultimate thing to
do? Meet a Disney character of course! Walk around characters
have been a part of the theme parks' for decades. Early on
in Disneyland, they barely resembled their cartoon coutnerparts.
Now, thanks to technology, and good old fashioned pixie dust,
those characters look great.
Meeting
Minnie
So
you want to see Miss Mouse herself? You sure can! Minnie Mouse,
along with her love Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Pluto and others
make appearances in all Disney theme parks world wide. There
are many ways to see her. One on one, or during a character
meal. You can even see her in several parades and shows as
well. Today, I will show you how to meet her. Keep in mind,
I have more knowledge of Walt Disney World, so my information
concerning the Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris and Toyko
Disney Resort is very dry. I need some help with this information!
Please contact me if you
have the lowdown.
If
you or your kid(s) have their hearts set on seeing her, you
should have no problem finding her. Minnie Mouse is among
the easiest characters to track down. When you do get to a
line, please be kind of others and don't cut people on line.
Minnie meets so much people she often needs a break once in
a while. If Minnie darts off to find Mickey, don't despair,
she'll be back in a few minutes. Its been obvserved by many
people that its best to meet Minnie during a character meal.
She is not outdoors and will tend to be more energetic inside.
Sometimes, Minnie could show up anywhere! For the most part,
she does not really stay outside that long if she is somewhere
not advertised, but it wouldn't hurt to stay on line as they
aren't really long.

If
you are really lucky, you can ride with Minnie on an attraction!
According to some guests, kids have been picked to ride with
characters once Fantasyland opens. Of course, only very few
get a chance to do this.
Now
what do I do when you are face to face?

Quentin
(Webmaster) and my girl ; )
This
must be an exciting moment for you! First of all, make sure
you are fair with others and wait your turn! I have
seen many overzealous kids try to run up to her. That is not
good and Minnie might ignore you anyway if she is with another
guest. Don't worry, you will get to see her!
Minnie, like other Disney walk-around characters in Disney
theme parks is very true to her character. She is very sweet,
kind and tends to go crazy when she sees guys. (I'm
a guy, and she always does!). If you are wearing a Minnie
T-Shirt, pin or anything else with her face, she gets very
excited. Since a lot of Disney characters are unpredictable,
I can't forsee how she will react to you, but if you approach
her with a positive feeling, she will make your day. She is
even better with Mickey by her side. They can be very funny
together! Once again, it all depends on you. Reactions to
everyone will vary.
Autographs?
Why yes! Minnie will be very flattered when she is
asked for an autogaph! It is a good ideal to have your autograph
book open to the page you want before meeting her. It makes
things quicker for the other people on line. Minnie only has
eight fingers and a thick pen is highly recommended. Minnie
usually writes in her cursive signature with some XOXO's.
She'll do your name if you ask. You can buy these items at
any Disney theme park.Keep in mind (like everything on sale),
they are a little overpriced, but so is everything the parks
sell : )
Pictures?
Minnie loves to pose for the camera! If you have another person
in your party, they can take a picture for you. If you are
alone and want a photo, don't worry, a Cast Member can help
you! Professional photographers can also take quality snapshots
of your moment with Minnie. They will usually give you a slip
with a selected location to pick up your photo(s) several
hours later. For the most part, they take good photos, plus
you can get extras as well.
