Our Mission: Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers' needs as individuals and members of society, and promote the value of all the work mothers do.

Our chapter currently has over 100 members and is growing all the time. We come from towns all over West Essex, including The Caldwells, Cedar Grove, East Hanover, Essex Fells, Glen Ridge, Montclair, Nutley, Verona, and West Orange.

We have two regularly scheduled meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month. Meetings are held in members' homes, with the meeting starting at 8:00 and members arriving from 7:30 on to allow time for socializing and refreshments.

Meetings give our members an opportunity to learn about and discuss a wide range of topics of interest to mothers, and might include guest speakers or round-table discussions. Some sample topics from the past include: basic child development, Internet safety for older children, managing clutter in the house, money saving tips, quick and easy dinners, and local family vacation spots.

We have a wide variety of committees and activities of interest including Mom and Tot Outings, Mom's Night Out, Book Club, and Scrapbook Club, Moms 40+, just to name a few, as well as playgroups organized by age group.

Annual dues are $45 and include all the activities/meetings our local chapter offers, our local newsletter, as well as a quarterly copy of The Forum, the national publication.
