|In raising my children, I have lost my mind but found my soul.
- Lisa T. Shepherd
|The chapter's 3rd Annual Gently Used Toy & Clothing and Craft Sale was held in June and was a huge success! Proceeds benefited the Columbus Children's Hospital Foundation.
The chapter also saves pop top tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. These are converted to cash, which is used for the $10 a night fee for families who cannot afford to pay for the stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
|2002/2003 Service Projects|
We helped homeless families in our area by making 100 Family Welcome Bags. These bags contained toileties and comfort items to help individuals who have so little. These bags were distrubuted to homeless families by the YWCA Interfaith Hospitality Network, which works with homeless families and their children to make a difference in their lives.
