I decided to dedicate this page to my  friends...from today and yesterday!
Friends are a mirror image of who you are!

History of Puerto Rico
Dime con quien andas, y te dire quien eres!
I learned that I too can be psychologically manipulated, that I can be torn, that my inner peace can be destroyed, that my thoughts can be changed...and that I too can get out of it!! :)
ARE WE living SUPRESSED?
at the park, a friend
Manikha
Our friend April introduced us, she's from a country called Bangladesh! At first I thought she was Latina.  Once I got to know her, I appreciated her sincerity, honesty, and sense of humor! She's definitely someone special!
I could always count on her to help me out when I was in need!
Rosa
She's from Guatemala, always wearing a thousand hats being a student, friend, working hard, and trying to find time for her family.  Constantly fighting for what she wants.  To achieve high status in her economic and emotional life is her ultimate goal! Of course, with the man of her dreams!
If the above icon says I'm online, you can chat with me!

April
We met at the school's Tutorial Services! She was the first African American person, I met that had such a love for the Spanish Language, that she wasn't afraid to Tutor in it! Applaud! She's a dedicated hard working individual! She's committed, and dedicated to perfection! She sometimes calls me her ex-roomate, which makes me want to call her, my ex-friend! Our friendship survived us living together for one year!

Blanca
My roomate! We lived together for six weeks during the EOF pre-freshman summer program.  We were Math Tutors.  It was amazing to see how easily we were able to get along on the first few day we met...

Ebony
Another college friend that has helped me through rough times, whether is giving me a ride, or just offering a listening ear!! :)
Ramon
My family forever teased me about "supposedly" having a crush on him.  We went back to preschool, but I only remember him sitting in back of him in first grade!
New Jersey
Ramonita
A Puerto Rican traditional girl, living at home by the rules of her parents, showing me peeps do not have to always change. Like great friends, everyone thought that we were related, they continously asked us if we were cousins or sisters...She is my so called "sister" in Spirit! :)

Maribel
We chatted for hours over the phone, after class we discussed our homework.  She was my first best friend ever! I missed her when I came to Jersey, back in 85!
Yahaira
With extremely little support, she has survived many challenges! One of the strongest persons I know.  I would have never guessed...back in the 6th grade, the way she's grown.
Lynn
We went together to a LASO meeting.  As a Cuban American, she has a strong interest in the Latino Culture. She is an intelligent and generous person.  She is studying to be a great medical doctor some day! Now married to a Cuban man. :)
Eddie
We met in a retreat of 5 days, and in that little time, I learned a few things about myself.  He was sensitive, sincere and dreamy!
Melissa
In second grade, I had my first experience meeting folks that were not from P.R.  She is from El Salvador.  She is one my first friend in the states, friendly and full of smiles. I will never forget her!
