| In August of 2005, we embarked on a cross country journey of the United States. Our goal was to see family and friends around the country prior to relocating to Australia in the near future. After weeks of planning our trip, we departed from California on August 22nd, having placed our house on the market with the hopes of having it sell prior to our return. Mother Nature required us to change our plans throughout our travels by throwing Hurricanes Katrina and Rita into our planned path. Our ability to be flexible allowed us to enjoy these changes and see a few places that we had not included in our plans. |
