Many of my fellow interneters have repeatedly spoken out of their fear of this movie. Fear that it will totally and utter suck and destroy everything that James Cameron created with the first two TERMINATOR films. Many have stated that no Terminator movie will be complete without Cameron, Or Linda Hamilton, or even little Edward Furlong and composer Brad Fiedel. They say  that there is no way this movie will be good. And then the reviews began to come in.

TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES
is a worthy addition to the TERMINATOR series, at the very least. T3 is several things actually. It's Arnolds first great movie in years, it's a really expensive independant film, it's an action flick with a brain. All those things are true. T3 is definatly a good flick for anyone, fan or not.

T3 picks up about 13 years after where T2 left off. John Connor, now well-played ehre by Nick Stahl, has become a nomad, never giving his location to a computer for fear of another attack on his life. All has been going considerably well untill another machine, this time the super-deadly T-X, shows up to destroy him and all of his future lieutenents. Arnold shows up, and a lot of stuff blows up.

T3 basically is a rehash of T2 but with cooler action pieces and a very different ending. The action and special effects in this film are all top notch. Including the final Arnold make-up shots. They're great. Same goes with the action. Everything is huge! Explosions pop up all over the place, and half the city gets demolsihed in a sweet car chase scene that rivals that of THE MATRIX RELOADED.

The performances are all great as well. Arnold goes back to playing the aging, robotic Terminator. Nick Stahl and Claire Danes are also good as the humans that the T-X has her sights set on. And then there is Kristanna Loken, the unknown who was picked to play the most wicked cool cyborg this side of Rosie the Robot, The Terminatrix. This girl is 100% bad, and she does a great job of showing her deadlyness here, including a really awesome scene with her in the back of a police car (you'll see what I mean).

Don't be afraid of
T3, cause it's really almost a seemless add-on to the TERMINATOR series, with an ending that seems to give way for at least two more sequels. And if they are anything like this second sequel, bring them on at full force, cause I'm ready for e'em baby! Hasta La Vista.
