ACADAMY AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
Last night, the Acadamy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced the Oscar winers for the year 2002. Many were not surprised that Chicago danced away with 6 wins. But many others were
Adrian Brody, Nicole Kidman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Chris Cooper.
taken off guard by some of the underdog winners. Most notably were Adrian Brody as Best Actor for The Pianist, Roman Polanski as Best Director for The Pianist, and Eminem's "Lose Yoourself" from 8 MILE, as Best Song. Some controversies were sprung when Best Documentary Winner Michael Moore slammed the war and insulted President Bush, and was booed off the stage. A Full list of the winners is located below, and a full list of the nominees can be found HERE.
