In fact, a new opportunity for fun and creativity is in the works. Why not put those winter pastimes to use? Even if you aren't an artist, do you have what it takes to push a little creativity? MPHA needs a new logo - now is YOUR chance to enter! Open to all ages, we are asking you to put your talents and ideas to paper. Simply sketch or write out your idea and either mail it or e-mail it to us! The top (3) ideas will be selected by March 31st, 2007 and posted on the website for voting. Your design may even be featured on our award chairs at our August futurity! You don't have to be a member to get involved, so encourage your friends and family to start thinking of ways to enhance our image.
Deadlines for sponsorship opportunities are rapidly approaching. We currently have buckle sponsorship slots available. Just $100.00 earns your sponsor a link on our home page, a logo on mailings from MPHA, advertising at the shows, and a class sponsorship complete with a buckle for the class winner. Remember, even if you don't have a financial sponsor, we are still looking for item donations for our youth benefit auction to be held in conjunction with our May 19th show. Download a form to fill out and e-mail back to us describing any items that you plan to bring to the auction.
With our youth planning for World Championship dreams, MPHA wants to be a part of their goals and success along the way. We would like to take an opportunity to congratulate Ty Cool on all of his achievements. His nomination for the March Gold Spotlight was unanimous!

My most exciting horse show moment was winning the buckle for Hight Point 5-9 in the Midwest Gold Challenge

The World Show is my favorite show to go to. This year I get to show there.
WHY DO YOU LIKE TO GO TO HORSE SHOWS?
I like to have fun and help work with the horses.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?
I want to be a horse trainer when I grow up.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: MGC Champion, placing in the Top 10 in the nation in Showmanship and Western Pleasure, and MPHA Circuit Champion, ROM's in Showmanship, Walk Trot Pleasure, and Youth Geldings
GOAL FOR 2007: To win a ribbon at the World Show!
FAVORITE SPORT: My favorite sport is football. This year I was an offensive tackle and a defensive tackle on my team.
4-H: This will be my first year in 4-H. I will be showing a horse and pigs at the fair this year.
OTHER INTERESTS: I have a border collie puppy - her name is Sneakers. I am trying to teach her to be a horse show dog so she can go to the shows with us this summer.
WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO THANK? I would like to thank my family and friends for their support and especially my friend Carol Snyder for giving Wilson to our family. I love Wilson.
