Myra Rubin - Knitting and Spinning - Sweaters
I was 12 years old when I made this sweater.
I made this when I was a sophomore in college. The contrasting colors are overstitched.
This was a collaborative effort.  My grandmother knit the sweater and I embroidered it.
This is made of a thin wool, it's very comfortable to wear in the spring.
I love wearing this jacket.  I never quite finished it though. I have another pocket to sew on and I need to make buttonholes. It's made of a wool and linen combination. The yarn wasn't very easy to work with, but the end result was worth the effort.

I like the cinched waist on this. I usually don't like working with acrylics, but I like the end result here.
This was made of alpaca.  It is so soft.
This is the first yarn that I've spun. I'm making it into a "Wallabee" sweater for my son, who is now 10.  Hope to finish it before he goes to college.
