| History Mu Epsilon Theta is a Catholic sorority that was founded by Maria Alcocer, Evelyn Greenfield and Patricia Perez at the University of Texas at Austin. Mu Epsilon Theta was officially recognized at UT on January 16, 1987. The Southwest Texas State University chapter was created in the spring of 1996 and was officially recognized in 1997 on the ten year anniversary. Currently there are nine classes of our Beta chapter: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, Eta, Theta, and Iota. |
