I share this hobby with lots of women the world over, and I've been doing it since I was 9 yrs old.
This hobby includes, for me, cross stiching, embroidery work, and crewel work. I've tried candlewicking, and it's just not my thing.
My favorite is cross stitching. I enjoy counted cross, and I've decorated lots of things with it. These things include: pillowcases, sheet tops, table runners, doilies, and baby blankets. I've made baby birth day keepsakes for myself and friends. I've made pillows. I've made pictures of things like fish and wolves to be hung on the wall.
I'll be posting examples of things I've done here in the future. Most of what I make, I give away as gifts. It's more fun that way for me.
