What is
‘‘Reflections’’?
The ‘‘Reflections’’ Program is a National PTA arts recognition and achievement program since 1969. It recognizes students for their contributions in the following categories: Literature, Musical Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Every year thousands of students from PTAs all over the country participate in this program. All students in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate.
What must participants do?
Participants are
required to reflect on and interpret the theme “WOW!” through six
different arts areas (categories). Work on entries at home and submit to school
office. This exciting contest is judged at five levels (unit or school level, council
level, PTA district level, State level and National level). The theme this year
is “Wow”…

Theme Search: Themes are selected by suggestions from students every
year. The deadline for the theme search for 2010-2011 is November 1,
2008.
