1997 Kunde Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes: Bold and flavorful, the 1997 Kunde Cabernet Sauvignon unfolds with generous cherry and blackberry fruit accented by delicious hints of licorice and spice.  Barrel aging for 16 months in French and American oak barrels adds a rich background of vanilla and oak nuances while enhancing the complex flavor profile of this deep, full-bodied wine.
Our notes:  The Kunde Cab embodies everything a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon should be.  It is full of flavor and complexity that can be enjoyed by all wine drinkers.  What's even better, is this wine is affordable.  Seldom can such a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon be found for under $20, but this is one of them.  Next time you're looking for a nice Cab to experiment with, give this one a try.  We're sure you'll like it.

1993 Kenwood Artist Series Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting notes: This Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant, intensely concentrated wine with vibrant blackberry and black cherry fruit flavors.  This wine exhibits rich, deep color, and aromas of mint, cedar, pepper and cassis.
Our notes: Not only is the 1993 Cabernet Sauvignon exceptional, but so are all of the Artist Series Cabs from Kenwood.  They have been making this wine since the 70s, and they have perfected it.  Not only is this a fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon, but the bottles are collector's items.  Each year they receive submissions from artists to be the next label.  Every year has a unique, one-of-a-kind label.  It is a great honor to be chosen as the label artist for this series.  This wine is a bit spendy, but well worth the investment.  If you are able to find any year at your liquor store, I recommend picking one up and putting it in your cellar.  We have recently opened our 92 and 93, and they were superb.
