I first heard about the R from a mate of mine who while discussing cars and I was telling him I wanted something RWD, 4WD, that is small and handles well. At that time I was thinking of the VW corrado, Audi quattro or the FTO. But luckily he told me about the R. Saying I might not be interested because it didnt look as nice as the FTO. I was always more interested in driving and handling then looks. So then i started researching the R at the age of 18. By 19 I knew it was the car i wanted. So realised I had to get 2 years NCB first before insurance companies even thought of insuring me. My next problem was needing a UK spec Sunny GTi-R as the insurance is half at my age. Now at the age of 21 I got my red Sunny UK spec GTi-R.
