| Well things have indeed happened, and mainly for the better. We still have a place of our own (yippie!!!) and Dustin's still working the paperroute, he's now working for Safeway (a supermarket), mostly as nightcrew. He likes it, as long as it's nightcrew he's doing. At times he's also courtesy clerk though, something he doesn't care much for. But it's a job ^_~ We also have 2 beautiful cats, so we're a little family now ^_^ We're both quite active in church still. We're in leadership for the Young Adults and I"m hoping to start a new ministry soon. Fingers crossed! |
| Also we now have our own car...it's an oldy but a goody, a 1987 Toyota Tercell and we got it from Trina (Dustin's mom) as our weddingpresent. Got to love her! She has been great in helping us out and finding out what we need to do and when as far as my paperwork goes, so many thanks to her!!! (Anyone hear about the myth with mother in law's?? As far as I'm concerned.. that's all that is.. a myth ;)) |
| As for me, I guess I should say that both Dustin and I have been baptized a few weeks ago. I've been able to get back to crafting again and I've made tons of dreamcatchers (I'm trying to get pictures taken of them to show you all, bare with me). Somehow I find making the dreamcatchers theraputic. I've also been able to get back to paper cutting thanks to Michael (thanks man!), which is something I've not been able to do for a very long time. Other then that I don't think much has happened, things are finally beginning to settle down some, something I'm very grateful for. |

| Well folks, guess what! I got my Oregon drivers license the other day. My first I.D. as a married woman! Kind of weird to think I've had 3 different drivers licenses over the years, first Danish then Dutch and now American. Oh well, I'm sticking with this one ;-) |

| Well peeps, definately some news to share these days. I got back in touch with my dad and his family after 12 years of no contact. Won't go in to the reasons behind that, suffice it to say that it's good to be back in touch again! Actually got a call from my dad and got to talk to my stepmom who sounds really cool. My youngest aunt also called me already, was cool to talk to her again, I have to say I've missed them. As I'm writing this I'm also talking to another aunt. Ashamed to admit though that I don't recall some of the relatives, but in time I'm sure I'll get to know them all again. I'll see if they're ok with having their pictures up on the net, if they are I'll show you what they all look like as well. So you'll be able to see where I get my looks from, good or bad lol. ;-) My dad and my aunt have been talking about coming to visit some time, will let you know how that goes and when and all that good stuff. So far it's all good though. Fingers crossed all continues to go well! For now.. YAY for being back in touch! |
| On a side note... Radio 10 FM ROCKS! They've called me twice now and I've gotten e-mails back from 2 of their dj's! Awesome! Mind you, it's a Dutch station that I listen to via the internet. They've been a tremendous help for me and my anker for Holland. Something I'm grateful for. |
