These are a few of my favorite things... |
My all time favorites... hmmmm, now let me think..... |
To name some of my favorite movies, I suppose I would have to say that I am quite a Disney fan. Among the Disney movies, my faves would have to be: Beauty and the Beast (yeah yeah I know, call me a softy), Fantasia & Fantasia 2000 and Mulan. |
As for the rest of the movie world...let's see... Of course there is Titanic (surprise!! not), City of Angels. Basically most movies from Jean Claude van Damme, Jackie Chan and Steven Segal. If I think of any more I'll be sure to add them in time. I just found another favorite movie to add to the list! Kate & Leopold. A must see for couples I swear.. It's a very sweet, romantic movie with a bit of a twist to it. If ever you wanted to drag your better half to a movie, let it be this one! |
My fave music? Ha! Ok ok, I give... I admit, I am a Monkees fan, have been for many many years now. Another fave is Aerosmith. Ranking high up there are Shania Twain, Celine Dion to name but a few. Especially like the "Man I feel like a woman", particularly during certain periods in life |

Other favorites of mine are movies from the Rat Pack, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby. Two of my favorites made by some of these men are Hans Christian Andersen (by Kaye), White Christmas (Crosby and Kaye) and True Love (Crosby and Louis Armstrong). |
There is more to my tastes in music then that though. I like almost everything from classical (favorites being the Strauss family) to modern music with the favorites stated above. |
Ofcourse there are also the classics like My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins and The Sound Of Music and other such movies. Not to forget Grease ofcourse! ;) |
As I wrote on the site with my hobbies, I enjoy reading a lot. In fact I just finished reading two books. One is called Last Dragonlord and the other is called Dragon and Phoenix. Both are by Joann Bertin. I recommend reading them if you're into fantasy :) Some other recommended reads are Strong Medicine and Airport by Arthur Hailey, and just about any book by Wilbur Smith, especially the ones about Egypt. What are some of your favorites? Always interested in more good reads ^_^ |
Some other things I like, hmmm..... to go along the lines of the Sound of Music song, I like cats, I like ancient Egypt, mythology from ancient Greece to King Arthur. Let's see what else. I like walking on the beach, walking in the woods, sunshine, being with my husband. I like teddy bears, learning and speaking different languages. When I can think of any other things to add, I'll do so promptly. ^_^ Oh, and crafting, of course ^_^ |
Oh yeah! Roleplaying ofcourse! How could I ever have forgotten that one! Though I do not play online anymore I still roleplay from time to time with friends here. |
Well, if nothing else, I've been able to do a lot of reading of late, thanks to my back being out. Seeing as I'm not allowed to do anything other then lie down on my stomach, there's little I can do other then read and watch movies (which I've also done quite a bit of). |
