Create an invitation list and then make a seating chart for all of the guests. Once the seating chart is complete, type a 100 word essay stating why you chose to sit people next to each other.
After you have finished with the seating chart please include what a sample invitation would look like. What colors should the Capulet's be associated with? How do you think the family would like to be presented? Remember, the invitation is the first thing that guests will see. It sets the tone and purpose of the entire party. Situation: You are the party planner for the Capulet's ball. You are walking around the party when you stumble upon Romeo and Juliet meeting for the first time. How has your party planning affected their first meeting? Does the environment effect the interactions of these two individuals? Do Romeo and Juliet experience true love when they first meet at the party?
Task: Write a 500-750 word essay from the perspective of the party planner. How does the language Romeo and Juliet use reflect the backdrop you have created? Be sure to use evidence from the text, as well as the work you have done for the e-portfolio, to support your point.
