After pondering my dilemma of trying to find someone, I realized that location location, location is one of the most important factors in determining the type of person I am looking for. For example, I do not (at least again) want to search the bars for girls. Why? Well, at bars, I think there are two main types of girls which actively look for guys. Neither group is suited for a good healthy long-term relationship. The first group is the Party-Girls. They are only there to have a good time with the hopes of continuing that good-time for that night. To fall under the scrutiny of this group, a guy must have the qualifications to be an underwear model for Calvin Klein or an star athlete for a college, semi-pro, or pro sports team. The Party-Girl will hang around long enough until the good time and fun run out. The longest you could ever hope for with a Party Girl is three days. The second group is the Desperate-Girls. They are there to latch on to any man who pays attention to them. This is the group you have to watch out for, beacause they have already realized that most men that go out to bars, go out with the notion of getting laid. They'll be a little reclutant to take off their clothes, and much more reluctant to leave you alone the following months. The only reason that they don't make good girlfriend material is that there is some degenerate personality trait that makes them an outcast of society Another place on the No-No List is the workplace. Most companies have policies against such things to start with. The reason; people are less productive at work, and home issues also tend to follow the couple to the workplace. While these can be valid reason for the company to instate such policies, work-place couples sometimes have an advantage. They are mentally closer, so they can anticipate each other's actions better than any other teammate ever could. The thing that the company is most scared of... a break-up between them. Face it, during a break-up when the former couple still has to be in close proximity to one another, they act like third-graders. All sense of maturity shoots the tubes. The only personally bad part of this for me is, I work so much that I rarely have a social life with people I do not work with. Now back to the original question... Where?? I read somwhere that libraries and bookstores are among the best places now to meet women, as well as catch up on some good reading. I do visit the bookstore quite frequently in fact, to keep up with latest releases of my favorite authors. What I have noticed, though is that, most of the women I see in there are the older housewives that seem to only find joy in the books they read. So, really..... where IS the best place to meet women? |
