Juliet NYC120

Juliet is a lovely sealpoint girl, 4 years old, and very petite. This sweet and needy baby wants you to keep her company while she eats! Juliet is very pleased to have been rescued from the Manhattan pound, as she seems to be telling us. Yowl! Yowl!

Romeo NYC121

Romeo is a very handsome sealpoint wedgehead fellow, just a year old. This poor guy came from the NYC pound with a nasty headcold! Please wish him well!

Camille NYC122

Camille is a lovely sealpoint girl of just 2 years of age, who was rescued from from the Brooklyn pound, and has already gone to her wonderful new home!

Agnes De Mille NYC123

Agnes De Mille is a gorgeous 1 year old chocolate point girl who came to us horribly thin and too weak to eat on her own. We're happy to report that she is now happily gobbling whatever is put in front of her, and showing a playful interest in other cats, especially kittens. With her improving health, her coat is darkening, giving her more seal coloring! Aggie is very gentle and easy to handle, even during force-feeding. What a good natured girl!

Yes NYC124

Yes is a handsome 2 year old who was rescued from the Manhattan pound. This uncontainable fellow can't stop rubbing against you, even if his cage wall gets in the way! He keeps saying: Pet me! Pet me! And now Yes has found his new human who is completely thrilled with this terrific guy!

Moonbeam NYC125

I'm Moonbeam, the smartest snowshoe you'd ever want to meet! I'm an escape artist who has exasperated many a foster home; no ordinary doors or screens can hold a smart meezer like me. I could get off the Rock if I had to! I received my title because the lunar light allowed me to be discovered while I was making my getaway along the Hoboken waterfront, no doubt after my last jailbreak. Despite this outlaw attitude, I enjoy walking on a leash. Even so, I'm looking for a maximum security home for my next challenge. Meezer-initiated security tests included as package deal! And I've found my new home where I'm guard cat on Fashion Avenue!

Andy NYC126

I'm Andy and I have a British Shorthair appearance. But, I'm such a terrific boy these guys have made me an honorary meezer! I'm very human-oriented and will follow you around just like a pup, but believe me, I'm not at all slobbery like a canine. I don't mind rubbing elbows with dogs, though, if you happen to have one or two, as long as they have reasonable manners! My favorite things are eating turkey shreds from your fingertips and cuddling up on your shoulder. And, I don't even touch that nasty litter when I use the box, so I'm a no-track cat!

Ian NYC127

Greetings! My name is Ian, and am I a handsome bluepoint boy or what? I'm just a year old, play like a kitten, and adore other cats. I was wide-eyed with fear and shock for days after coming from the pound -- What a horrible place! My owner took me there when he moved to a no-cats apartment. I'm a bit shy at first with humans, but always very gentle and quite the knee-rubber once we're acquainted! I also enjoy being held in your lap or over your shoulder, but not for so awfully long as a young guy like me has lots to do! I'm an enthusiastic player of tag with other cats, and I'll even do backflips if you wave a Metropolitan Fishing Fly over my head! Too late! I've already gone to my amazing new home on the Jersey Shore!

Bootsy NYC128

Hello! I'm Bootsy, a gorgeous applehead sealpoint female, if I do say so myself! I was rather miffed to have been abandoned at that awful pound, and voiced my complaints - for days - at not being returned to my proper place in society. Now, I've calmed down nicely and am quite affectionate towards my foster care-takers. I dance and talk to get attention, and I'll try to pin your hand against the floor so I can pretzel-twist the back of my neck against your fingers for JUST the right amount of pressure-scratching. It's one of those amazing positions that only a limber meezer like me could do! I'm happy to cohabitate with calm kitties at a polite distance, but, please, no rambunctious mashers who might upset me. I'm a girl who clearly knows what she wants and deserves!

Flip NYC129

This is Flip and he is a terrific guy who is very human-oriented, rushing to greet you at the door like a puppy. He is also an intrepid explorer of impossibly high perches! Flip enjoys both playing kittytag with other young playful cats and quieter moments of observation. He has just taken on the role of being "dad" to some orphan kittens and is incredibly gentle with them as he tries to teach them hunting games: stalk the kitty behind the scratching post, halloween cat hops, and bat-and-run tag. He is also the playground monitor to ensure other young cats do not get overly rough with the smaller ones. Anyone need a kitty-cop?
