NoseyKnowles NYC240

I'm Nosey Knowles, a bluepoint ragdoll who was hit by a car crossing the street! The perpetrator drove away, but another kind person stopped to help me. I'm still a bit stiff and can be cranky sometimes, and some say I look like a sad yak, but I appreciate a bit of comfort and sitting in your lap!

Sheba NYC241

Greetings! I'm the Queen of Sheba, a gorgeous tortiepoint Siamese girl with a Princess attitude! I was actually rescued from the pound by another group, who took really good care of me while I was very sick. Then I got better and they asked me to stay in a cage in a petshop. Humph -- Not this girl! I have to be free to rub against you and purr! Even though my foster home isn't bad, I'm anxious to come home with you now! Yowrl!

Logan NYC242

Hello, I'm Logan, the beautiful seal snowshoe: I am very very friendly and love to play with other cats. I was rescued from a store, where I was left behind after the owners closed it, with just a few cans of cat food! Let me tell you, I was pretty worried my time was up! Fortunately, someone heard me crying, and called a local rescue group. Everyone thinks I'm barely out of kittenhood based on the way I play with the other cats. I love to initiate jump and wrestle and chase games, at least a few times a day, although I'm gentle and never end it with bad manners!

Naila NYC243

Naila is my name, and I'm quite the retiring type - in fact, when my owner died I spent my time hiding inside his son's kitchen cabinet! Even though I'm very passive, I certainly do appreciate any attention you might give me, clinging to your shoulder or curled up in your lap. If you spend just a few minutes petting me, I'll knead your leg in appreciation. I have a small Siamese yowl, just enough to politely get your attention if I want something!

Robert NYC244

Robert ws the thinnest of four flamepoints turned into the Brooklyn pound by a retiring breeder. He was barely more than a furry skeleton and horribly sick from never having vaccinations. This poor guy narrowly pulled through but has made an amazing recovery! All of these boys are intensely affectionate. Robert is a clinger, who will hold onto you more than you do him, rubbing his face against you wherever he can reach! This fellow will sometimes cry if you put him down, and he's apt to climb onto you if he sees an opening!

Geoffrey NYC245

Geoffrey was the second-most sick from never having vaccinations. This poor guy narrowly pulled through but has made an amazing recovery! All of these boys are intensely affectionate, giving you deep, soulful looks! Geoffrey excels at playing fetch! This talented fellow can shag a fly crinkleball right in his paws, or he'll carry a jingle ball back to you in his mouth to let you know he wants more play!

Brodie NYC246

Brodie has a wobble to his walk and his teeth go more forward than they should, like an overbite. He's a bit of a messy eater, as a result, but his loving nature will more than make up for it as he climbs onto you for cuddle! Our vet said that this neurological problem could have had many causes including starvation or abuse, but we're happy to report that Brodie has gotten both faster and more active, able to jump to high perches and navigate staircases.

Rick NYC247

Rick is the sturdiest and healthies of these retired breeders, likely from his willingness to crunch on dry food. He tends to stand back sometimes from his brother, indicating a more laidback temperament. He is still very sweet and enjoys attention but is disappointed when upstaged by his brothers, and withdraws. He would like to share your attention with fewer room-mates!

Gold NYC248

My name is Gold and if you like the svelte, leggy, angular look of the Oriental Shorthair, check me out. I must have the genes, because I sure have the look . Just check out my cheekbones! I have really nice coloring, too. I am what they call a classic red tabby, rusty red with broad stripes swirling all over me, like someone painted me with a brush. I don't have a drop of white on me. I am not just another pretty face, however. I am a social butterfly. I like meeting and greeting people. I am active and athletic (of course I'm only 9 months old), too. I enjoy working out with people of all ages, other cats and even dogs. If you really want to be entertained royally, adopt me AND my brother, Myrrh. We two Princes of the Orient will have you roaring with laughter.

Myrrh NYC249

I'm Myrrh and unlike my brother Gold, I am a red mackerel tabby - more commonly known as a mackerel tabby. (Don't ask me who thought THAT moniker up - tiger tabby sounds better if you ask me...) I look even more like an Oriental Shorthair than my brother Gold. I have the same fabulous cheekbones and am even longer and leggier, with a very aristocratic Roman nose. I have the Oriental Shorthair personality in spades, too. I am always on the go and quite the talker. I LOVE company - the more the merrier and fret when I am alone. If you do not have kids or another cat or a dog to keep me busy, please listen to Gold and take both of us. C'mon, admit it. Wouldn't you just love to have a pair of princes - and brilliant, beautiful and handsome princes at that - adorn your home?
