1960 Plymouth SeriesThis series switched from the Ford products to the Plymouth series. Three models, the Plymouth Fury Convertible, Plymouth Fury Sports Coupe, and the Plymouth Suburban Station Wagon were offered with six new colors, Plum Red, Chrome Green, Sky Blue, Twilight Blue, Caramel, and Valiant Red (a late introduction). This made a package of eighteen new cars for collectors to add to their collections. During 1959, the Food and Drug Administration passed new regulations prohibiting packaged food items from containing toys made with cut metal, such as the axles on F&F cars. Thus, a one piece wheel/axle unit made of white plastic comes on the new Plymouth series. |
