It is our only fundraiser for the year, so please help your scout get some sales!!!! Forms were mailed to your house directly from the scouting office. If you threw it away thinking it was junk mail or from last year, you can get a new one from the scouting office or Dick Barkelew.
Scouting for Food 2005
The annual fall Scouting for Food Drive is coming up on two successive Saturdays, November 12th and 19th. As we have done in the past, we are planning to distribute the SFF plastic collection bags and unit area maps at the November Roundtable, which will be on November 3rd this year. All units should plan to have a SFF contact person attend the November Roundtable. For more info, contact Randy Summers, summerslo@comcast.net, or 925-363-0092.
If you have not had a chance to help out with Scouting for Food before, sign up this year! This is a wonderful opportunity to do a really big GOOD TURN! The Food Banks of Contra Costa and Solano Counties rely on the success the Scouting program has with SFF to meet the great demand on their resources over the holiday season. Scouting for Food goes a long way towards helping a very great need.
